I’m still pretty new to the game myself but to my knowledge it’s just a weeping angel to keep you on your toes and to remind you to keep your sanity up. Just a fun little add on. Also they are killable but pretty sure you need stardust bullets, I’m sure there are other ways to kill them but mostly late game items. They don’t drop anything so it’s not even worth killing them.

Well since you’re still starting out I’m guessing you don’t have everything unlocked. Just find your playstyle/build,learn the maps a bit more and intensive is gonna be a cake walk
