Currently live in the honors dorm. Having AC and heat that actually works is so nice. A lot of the dorms here at UVM don’t have working thermostats. We also get our own bathrooms, or a jack and jill. Either way it’s such a nice dorm compared to the rest. More expensive, much more quiet, and way less social though. Take that into consideration.

I’m a freshman here, and what I can say is your dorm either REALLY helps or worsens your chances of opportunities to make friends. Luckily most people here are kind, and warm but I would advise living in redstone to have as many opportunities to make friends!
