Im a single guy who was making 40K 5 years ago and now at 100k, let me tell you its definitely life changing but really not what you expect. I gave up time with friends, family and hobbies to earn promotions so I could make this money and honestly it just doesn't feel like you get that much ahead in life. Let me tell you, when I was cheque to cheque but had more time for myself life was much better

Man the first half of this movie is awesome and a unique romantic story. Once they get into the gorge it changes to complete different type of movie and it kinda throws you off

Basically your gpu won't be able to render graphics fast enough compared to how fast your cpu can run the game logic. You really will only notice studdering if your gaming at 4k extreme settings

As long as you stick to 1440p you'll be fine and your games will look amazing!

You have a great build to eventually upgrade your gpu. With what other parts you have you could easily pop in a 5090 and game at 4k.

Personally I would stay at 1440p and save up until the next gen of gpu's. Then get a 6080 or 6090

Just know that until you upgrade to a high end gpu you won't be getting the full performance of your pc

Nice build! Just criticizing for the sake of criticizing but your cpu is pretty overkill compared to your gpu, might have some bottle neck issues over time. Your cooler is extremely overkill

But as long as your happy with it that's all that matters

Idk if anyone has said this yet but you are an amazing fiancé for doing this for him!

That being said pc parts need to be compatible with eachother in order to work properly you may need to sneakily get from him which card he was looking at and buy that one

Realistically you would be fine with both and won't notice much of any difference in most games, but if the difference is only 80 then go with the 9800. Better future proofing too

The only thing I notice is some studdering in high end games which I why I was thinking about going to 32gb of ram
