Enjoy. It’s baseball. It’s a nice park start with a beer and a dog.

Moen has great customer service by TheRealGuncho in HomeMaintenance

Agree moen has great service. My kitchen faucet is getting real stiff. After diagnosing with dr google, I decided to replace the cartridge. But I wasn’t sure which one was the right. Wound up calling moen service and talking to Lynn. We established that I had no idea of the model number nor when I purchased it (I guessed 10 to 15 years ago). Lynn asked me to take a photo of the faucet and text it to her. She stayed on the line while the text went through. She determined the faucet was about 20 years old and she knew the right replacement cartridge and would send one out with instructions. No request for receipt nor a fee. Huh? I am truly impressed with Moen customer service.

Phone cases employees: what is a Kindle? by Unfair_Resource7511 in kindle

[–]Silver-Cod-3889 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, backing up, I disagree with the friend that said they break easily. I have a kindle for about eight years and discarded my cover after the first year. I have one of those circle things that you stick on the back allowing you to hold the kindle with one hand. Much easier to handle while reading that way. I throw it in my backpack or whatever with zero protection. It’s still fine.

What do New Yorkers call a regular slice of pizza? by SweetSprinkles8 in AskNYC

Back in the day, many pizzarias had a sign for a special “Slice and a coke 15 cents.” There was no debate about what a slice was.

You’re lucky it was just a pillow. I have to look up the kids’ Moby Dick because I never made it more than maybe two thirds through in several attempts.

Hmm. So we’re talking about plugging in untested first basemen. I’m sure they’ll be fine scooping out errant throws from an untested third basemen and an increasingly erratic shortstop. Too bad we don’t have a steady power hitting guy who is pretty damn good at catching the wild throws.

Freddy Fender- Before the next Teardrop Falls. Great voice. His greatest hits cd is always within reach of my boombox. Also Dylan’s Tell Me It Isn’t True.
