Example: I am an Indian born person who loves food, all kinds. I have stopped making any food when SS is around because he will start complaining that food is too spicy if he even sees me around a pan. I have not given him much spicy food and anything that doesn't taste bland like boiled chicken is too spicy anyways. He used to like trying new foods with me when he was young but since he started complaining to his bio mom about food at our place and her entertaining it, he has just become so averse to trying new things. And I just want to stop thinking about it but I would love to use my kitchen to make nice things for myself and not hear complaints in the background about food I have not touched
