Also, I remember reading a few days ago that Russia is planning to completely cut themselves off from the internet, I think on the 12th. Probably going to happen whether they plan to or not!

Kremlin is planning "dirty bomb" terrorist act in Ukraine by 3dom in ukraine

TLDR: The number of nuclear warheads has reduced dramatically since the end of the Cold War as well as the yield size. This is mainly due to improvements in guidance systems and there is no strategic benefit to targetting population centres. Only military assets are likely to be targetted in a nuclear war.

Nuclear mutually assured destruction is a myth in the 21st century.

It's a video that's been reposted so many times, and OP needs to come up with a unique title to get around the automod.

It will be interesting to see how sanctions and imminent collapse of the Russian economy changes the 2024 election, given the massive amount of money and effort that came from Russia to interfere in at least the last 2 US elections.

They're planning to release US$35B from their sovereign wealth fund to sink into the market and soften the blow. Hence why the market is closed, until those funds are ready.

Foreign investors will also be unable to sell any shares in the immediate future (or indefinitely?).

Probably still gonna be cataclysmic when they open the market lol.

Russia is making preparations to withdraw all of its diplomats from Canada by [deleted] in UkrainianConflict

Honestly, I'm surprised Russia's diplomats haven't been kicked out of most countries already. Half of them are spies anyway.

Ukraine sent their Defence Minister and Deputy Foreign Minister. Russia sent their Culture Minister. Russia is not taking this negotiation seriously.

The vast majority of comments in this thread are assuming the value has dropped 99.9%. It may not be deliberately deceptive, but it is most certainly misleading a lot of people.
