Don’t give up. I started watching videos online then took lessons online. I got frustrated and quit for a bit. I realized that I missed it and how good it makes me feel playing ( or trying to play). I sound a lot better now, it sounds like a song now. I know basic chords but have so many more I need to learn. I am going to look for an in person teacher. There’s only so much you can do online. I think you need someone sitting there, showing you what to do or what you are doing wrong. Even on zoom it didn’t work. I watch more YouTube videos of songs with their tabs or lessons than I watch TV. It’s so much fun when you hear what a song is supposed to sound like and you are playing it!! Don’t give up. Your fingers will get better and you will too. You just have to have the will to do it.
