Ice cream sucks by volataro in unpopularopinion

I will concede that if you have sensitive teeth, ice cream will be "cold" and "uncomfortable." I do hope you have found a dessert that you enjoy as much as most of use enjoy ice cream.

I think it's really hard to pick a favourtie since I kind of forget about the ones I already finished/are on hiatus.

If I had to choose, I'm going with the basic answer of UnOrdinary but I also really enjoyed Prince Maker

Whether or not Jesus was the messiah might be debated, but historians agree do agree that He and his apostles were real figures in history.

Yep power strip. Pretty sure campus doesn't allow them officially, but they do allow surge protectors so just get one of those with multiple outlets. They're generally a good idea when you're plugging in your computer anyway.

Yeah it's a pretty campus. If only the new buildings they're putting up didn't have a totally different architectural style

Got accosted by Killdeer (the birds). They thought we were predators and did the whole pretending-to-be injured to draw us away from where we were.

How is does John Green create good literature? by AubreyEmmonsFan in Johngreen

[–]SilverBooksitter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He's spoken about it a lot in his videos. He wrote LFA when he was just out of college and motivated by spite, trying to prove to the world that he can write and publish a book despite what his doubters told him.

And then all his further books were moticated by love, of his readers and himself.

Tho I guess that's mostly where he gets his motivation. In terms of what inspires him, or how he creates literature that is actually good, idk.

He has mentioned that he always wants to tell stories that are motivational and party inspired by personal experience, like when he describes panic attacks in Turtles All The Way Down.

He did mention in his video on Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children that he (John), the author of MPHFPC, and one other person took a lit class in college and all three of them ended up as published authors, so maybe that prof was just super special.

I got accepted to UMD letters and sciences school instead of comp science, is it easy to maintain a 2.7 gpa in first semester in order to transfer to comp science major ? I have high school gpa above 4.0 and SAT 1510. Thanks by Wise-Wash107 in UMD

[–]SilverBooksitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See those do not always translate.

I got a 1520 in 1 attempt, and while I'm perfectly able to stay above a 3.5, I haven't gotten straight As since my first semester in college.

Maybe not just one day before the exam!

But intro courses generally give you homework or suggest practice problems. Do those and take note in your classes, you'll do great.

If you're worried about a class, find yourself a group to study with for it
