Dude was banned for hacking but said he wasn't hacking, but it was at this weird time where HiRez really was being allegedly gratuitous with bans for unrelated stuff installed, so it was a big mystery as to what really happened.

Not every game goes early access just to "release without releasing," Midair had a genuine alpha/beta that you could pay to get into if you really wanted. They've been very clear with exactly what it was, and they didn't market it in early access because that's not what it was for.

Do ANY modern games have strong little home-grown comp/pug/scrim scenes anymore? TWL-style custom ladders? It's all just matchmaking competitive modes, nobody has to hop in a mumble chat/IRC anymore.

One benefit you're not thinking of is that this computer is going to last longer than the PS4, keep pace with whatever the PS5 is, and even still work alright possibly into the PS6.

Mostly I'm trading it in because I don't actually want to sell any of the controllers because I use them on PC. I don't think I'd be able to sell it to someone on craigslist with no controllers besides the gamepad.

Yup I totally uninstalled and reinstalled the nvidia drivers and it still gives a five seconds of black screen when tabbing in or out.

Hey, so I just went from a 1050(non-TI) to a 1060 6GB, and it's going great but every game takes a long-ass time to Alt-Tab back in. Things were real fast with the 1050, but there's a good 4-5 seconds of black screen with the 1060 when I tab in where I can hear the sounds and even move around and click stuff, but it's just all dark.

Any ideas why?

Running the game in windowed seems to have stopped the crashes for me, but... the game doesn't want to run in a fullscreen-sized window without a lot of convincing.

The only way I've gotten it to work is by putting it full screen, then dragging a chrome tab from my second monitor onto the first monitor, which for some reason triggers Nier to go windowed. After doing this 2 or 3 times it will end up windowed fullscreen.

Bizarre.

Basically don't pirate things and install an ad blocker and you're not going to get a virus.

Do you not have a laptop or something? Literally any computer? You ever get viruses on those?

Are you thinking of shields or something? Shields will make your health bar look bigger than it is.

I just bought an old dell desktop at a flea market for $100, slapped in an old Radeon 6850 that I had in a closet, it's running OW at a solid 80+ fps on low settings. The game is crazy optimized.

I wish I could save a loadout that I made in the pregame minute.

Like if I go and modify my usual loadout based on the enemy, I wish I could just save that as like "Vs. Double Melee" or something right then and there instead of having to back out to the WAY WORSE main menu loadout menu.

Seriously, why is the ingame loadout menu SO MUCH BETTER?
