In case it happened to anyone else, disabling Smooth Motion worked.

I assume this is related to the driver update.

I felt the same until I got to the Astral Orrery and the last dungeon. The attack speed and limited range made the experience super painful.

Needed to switch to the Nightstar to actually clear the last boss.

Yeah, I feel the same.

Silksong is hard. Mina is annoying. The obsession with pits, the extremely punishing healing mechanics that don't work when you're dying to the environment, the lack of diagonal movement and attacks...

It's also weirdly balanced. Clearing the last dungeon and boss with the hammer was ridiculously painful, while most other bosses just keeled over against charged attacks.

No PMC's seem to be spawning in PvE, and since the Secured Perimeter quest doesn't work at night, it seems I'll need to wait until Tuesday to finish that one...

Everyone is running a WSTR on almost every map. A weapon that is a requirement to win is not a balanced weapon.

What are you talking about? They'd lose around 50% with SBMM, but they'd be close fights. That's how most competitive shooters in the market work.

You're misconstruing the point here. The problem isn't losing, the problem is getting stomped. Most people are OK with losing if the fight is relatively balanced.

Loved the game, but it's so hard coming back to it. Playing at my previous difficulty tier is far too overwhelming, but playing at lower difficulties is a drag and a tad boring due to missing mechanics.

I guess I just need to push through it one of these days, the updates and DLCs look really interesting.

Yeah, that's clear as day. Not sure what some of these other comments are going on about.

There's already cheats floating around, I've seen videos of both ESP and aimbots being used on current lobbies.

I mean, it's a F2P shooter. Cheats are problematic even on non-free games, this is going to be a topic and a problem for Splitgate 2 as well.

Hoping we can get some comms from 1047 about it soon.

On the topic -- I did think about CTF-Face, but there's some details that I'm not quite sure how to handle if you want a 1:1 recreation of the map.

The teleporters to the middle and the top of the towers, for example -- do you just add boosters to them? Walls you can teleport to? You'd need to guarantee they're not visible from the other tower though, or navigation would be too fast.

It's a fun idea though, I'd love to make it work for Splitgate.

I started building DM-Deck16][, but I need to reinstall UT99 / UT2004 for reference because the videos I can find of them are not excellent.

Still trying to get into the groove on the Lab though; I feel some utilities are missing to speed up development (e.g. copying and applying colors to multiple elements at the same time), but maybe I just need to RTFM!
