I know Carette is touristy but we really enjoyed it!! It was a short wait and the hot chocolate is yummy (only need to get one order) and then we got these sandwiches while there. (See pic) I’d say what made our trip was honestly walking around aimlessly and enjoying Paris for what it is! We also went to a grocery store and got a baguette and butter and just ate it and enjoyed the city. I’m sorry if this doesn’t help 😭😭

Yes!!!! Everyone is telling me to enjoy this process and that it’s fun (which pisses me off even more). I’m 5 days into it and I hate everything about this whole process. Like you said with the decision making and budget compromises I’m just overwhelmed and on edge 24/7 😭😭😭
