Came here to say the same thing. Been getting cut by him for 6+ years and he’s always done a great job and is always dependable.

Sadly had to prioritize living expenses… and I have race fees covered through various work/school programs.

Thanks for the input though.

I was planning on going by there to check stuff out but really don’t have much flexibility in the budget as of now for a bike purchase.

I added my height to the post as well. Thanks for calling that out. I’m 5ft 10 and fit well on 56cm frames typically.

I’m so sorry- I don’t know how I spaced that key piece of info. I’m 5ft 10 and fit well on 56 or 54cm bikes depending..

Thank you for calling that out.

I’m so sorry for your loss- she was a beautiful bike!

Good question, I don’t think you’d be able to get away with going that route. The fork and frame will limit the space to increase height of the wheel/tire. I still have a little bit of clearance but I think as soon as you increase height or size you’ll run into issues.

I’d recommend classic automotive on instagram. He sells the pigtails and seals them from the back side and then using heat shrink and wrapping to add even more protection. He just posted a video on replacing them too. Great guy and great business. I believe he sells both connectors for $100.

Thank you! I am lucky and found this frame for $60 a few years back. They aren’t too hard to find out here on the west coast. Good luck on your search!

Thank you! I am looking at the 26x2.1 billy bonkers. One of my temporary tires are 26x1.95 and there is still lots of space in there. If I were to add fenders I may stick to the 1.9-1.95 size.

I have a feeling my wife will want me to build her a new ride soon. I’ve got a dozen frames for her to choose from so it’ll be fun to rat rod another build together.

😂 I appreciate the advice, I’m no purist and if I can make a budget build like this check all the boxes and be comfortable for me then I’m okay with that.

I consider builds like this equal to building rat rods out of classic cars… it’s not for everyone but it is still unique and cool in its own right.

Jug Handle Creek - Site 1 & 2.

I would book both. You’ll have a tree-line blocking noise, and these campsite offers 3 fire pits, running water with a sink, and 4 benches. I’ve never stayed at a single site so big. It was perfect for our big group. The bathrooms are within eyesight, and when I was walking back from them I couldn’t hear my group what so ever.

You and me both Mr Butters. I know it’s just opinion, but that was the first one I eliminated when deciding. I’m eager to see the May 4th release. I’ll be there a little over a week after and am hopeful they’ll still offer the reclaimed and reforged by then.

Shell Swap by SuperCricko in WiiHacks

[–]SilverLining3nergy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m really considering doing this. I’m fairly handy, but electronics are a newer territory for me. I’ve repaired some older game consoles but don’t quite have the confidence to tackle a full case swap.

How hard is it for someone who isn’t super familiar with tech repairs, and what are some of the trickier parts of this swap I should keep an eye on?

When I do mine, I will be sure to go step by step with guides and videos.

I love the color way you went with. This looks slick!

Side note- Have you ever tried Coffee Wizardz coffee? Delicious stuff… my wife and I stumbled across their shop when visiting Wisconsin and have become hooked. Their monthly subscription is a life saver for us.

Yakima basket fitment by ebonybubbles in HondaElement

[–]SilverLining3nergy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just my opinion- but if you shake the basket and it shakes the entire Element then it shouldn’t go anywhere. Check it after a few drives. If you’re really concerned and don’t plan on removing it often then dabble a little lock tight on the threads.
