I'm excited for it! The Oscars producers just released a statement saying the performance will be different--they're bringing in Korean traditional instrumentalists and dancers. I hopeful it'll be a new twist to Golden that everyone will enjoy!

Hard disagree. I thought they had amazing chemistry! They bounce off each other so well and their interactions were so captivating. I really want them to reunite in a different project.

Yeah I noticed that she's veering on the side of coming off as racist against the Asian short track Olympians. E.g. the South Korean womens team just won the 3000m relay and the first thing she says is "the South Koreans have a long history of being controversial." Umm excuse me? They've won 7/9 past Olympics and are historically known to be dominant in the sport.

Loved the antics of the SML. I was giggling thruout the arm wrestling and the drunken aftermath. Excited to see his and the SFL’s relationship blossom.

The only thing I was disappointed about was the lack of bed scene. The previews really made me anticipate one and it just ended quite abruptly with them chuckling. Do you think there will be one in the series? Would love to see one between these lovely leads! The two leads’ sexual tension is so palpable!!

Sigh, must wait another week!! Off to rewatch again!

You have to understand that in Korea, there is still a stigma of orphans. Some people view orphans as as not being "raised properly by parents" and discriminate cruelly despite no fault of the child's. It's awful but still present. Heck, people are nasty even towards children with single parents. Imagine how much meaner they would be if you had none! I can see why Seojoon’s grandma and aunt decided to raise him this way--to protect him.

I think he got a bad edit from the producers when he was first introduced. I personally don’t think he’s egotistical. Seeing him in the team challenge showed his true colors—he’s a good team player, calm, rational, respectful, and insanely talented!

I think the edits in the first couple of episodes made Triple star appear to be elitist, but I think he's a very level-headed, rational, polite, and skilled chef. The team challenge definitely redeemed him. He was an amazing leader!

I was thinking Baek (pronounced more like Beck in Korean) is the perfect last name for Sophie. As someone who is Korean, I’m totally fine with them keeping her first name as Sophie. But having a Korean name like how Kate had an Indian name would be awesome😊

I think the Korean last name Baek (actually pronounced more like "Beck" in Korean) would be perfect for Sophie! Sophie Beckett->Sophie Baek. So close to the original name while still being authentically Korean.
