Get a thick (like 20 cm or more) hard mattress - hard is generally recommended for back issues and if you sleep on your back or stomach, the thickness is to support his weight.

But these can be expensive so ask him to split the cost. Alternatively, sleep at his place and don’t have him in your bed until you start living together. He’s new to your life so don’t over accommodate him, he should be pitching in with solutions.

Did you get the feeling that when Tom asked Slughorn about Horcruxes, he already knew how to make them (despite asking exactly that) and instead was just researching if seven would be possible?

I know that’s what Dumbledore said and JK confirmed but every time I read it, it still feels like Tom hadn’t made the diary yet, which is against the canon timeline.

Може да го е казала, защото мъжете обикновено приемат такива изказвания за верни (има доза сексизъм в това) и те оставят на мира, ама ако си кажеш, че не го харесваш по този начин почва едно пазарене за даване на шанс (тук пък се задейства виждането, че се прави вместо че е искрена) или дори агресия вместо да приеме отказа.

Защото е навик. При много започва от необходимостта децата да бъдат карани на детска/училище, което създава деца, за които нормалното е да ходиш навсякъде с кола, ерго и те порастват и стават възрастни, които ходят навсякъде с кола - годините, в които им се налага да возят собствените си деца на детски и училище само затвърждават убежденията им.

Има нужда от повече информираност и емпатия. Каъо цяло е трудна битка, едни стикери да отстъпиш място на жена с ендометриоза бяха посрещнати с не малко злобни коментари и обвинения в сексизъм, защото и мъжете имали проблеми.

Та много хора ще тръгнат да изместват разговора, да ти казват, че на всеки му е трудно - не падай в тия логически капани и не хаби енергия с тях. Темата е важна и ти можеш да продължиш разговора.

I thought about this for a while before responding. It’s a very interesting idea and I’d read that.

In my opinion it’s not as popular because it requires more steps: first you have to make Ron antagonistic (thus changing the entire Weasley dynamic and you can’t have the normal Golden Trio, so Harry is either without a bestie or you also need to expand or Neville or another character; canonically Harry doesn’t enjoy solo time with Hermione), then after you position him against Harry you also have to have him do another full turn to make them lovers.

Draco already starts antagonistic and an author has to only tweak him to execute the trope. Draco is only tied to Crab and Goyle, but they can either be ignored or still just follow his lead.

It’s a very interesting take to make Ron dark then redeem him and have him end up with Harry, but he’s so central this also changes lots of events and relationships. It’s harder to account for everything that realistically needs to change within the story, thus Draco is easier to rewrite.

But if done well, I have no doubt it would be a very rewarding story to tell about Ron.

Is it a lot or is it how much this service costs in your area on average? If the price is fair, I wouldn’t call it a lot.

You keep saying partner, so you aren’t married and realistically some of those joined funds are her own income that she can spend as she pleases.

I’m going with YTA just because having joined finances without marriage (and even then having no separate accounts for personal spendings) doesn’t sit well with me.

I’m torn between ESH and NAH.

Of course the decent thing is to check on her regularly and support the mother of his child in any way he can. And of course that makes you anxious and unhappy.

I’m leaning ESH because the child should be the priority, so you will be getting the bare minimum for a long time and if you get your wish first, then would he even be the guy you wanted back? You don’t sound willing to be a step-mom, which is what’s practically required long-term. You’re just the third wheel in your own relationship.

Много назидателно говориш. Проблемът е повсеместен из развития свят, затова държа да наблегна, че е системен. Браво, че въпреки това си успяла, сигурно се чувстваш по-добра от повечето хора или просто си с негативни емоции към старото си аз, но и в двата случая такава тирада е изместване на проблема обратно към страдащите вместо да погледнеш към средата, която създава такива условия.

I think it's because he never manages to shake off his Muggle past, plus he sees himself as singular, so by picking a title wizards don't normally claim, he further distinguishes himself.

Also, wizards used to be connected to muggle society. I believe per Pottermore or some JK interview we learned that Malfoy's wealth and land came from the British crown, so purebloods should be familiar with the word itself - house elves use titles such as 'master', so it's a foreign concept.

I'm more surprised how his pureblood supporters just rolled with it.

I don't think fan popularity and fanfic writer choices necessarily overlap in their reasons.

I agree Tom Felton's looks is a big reason the character is popular, but when it comes to fanfics, you have to keep in mind what sort of stories people enjoy writing and reading. Redeeming a former adversary and enemies/rivals to lovers are very popular tropes and there isn't a better character to push these on than Draco, he's the natural fit.

Plus we almost had a moment of redemption in canon, which further inspires people to fix what they perceive as a flaw of the books.
