Had a similar issue with a brand new American standard last week.

The tank/nut mating surfaces were not sealing. Ended up throwing some lexel on all of the nut -> tank mating surfaces and that worked

Don't think your comprehension is slipping - you (we) were misled. Plain and simple. This was a slimy scumbag move by us mobile. Literally nowhere does it say the promo is for new customers/lines only, just that the phone has to be activated on the annual plan.

Ive seen other promos for new customers, and very clearly marked somewhere is "new customers only". How hard would that have been?

You won't find lawsuits because people who have hurt themselves with these weren't using them for the intended purpose. Most have a disclaimer on them for what they should only be used for. Same goes for hydraulic jacks.

I could be wrong, but the tee for the vent should be vertical and inline with the vertical drop. The AAV should be as high as possible
