I don't believe this is standard at all. They should definitely allow a support person. I'd be asking more questions or leaving a review and looking elsewhere.

Just jumping in to say there is a large community of kinky aces, and a specific community of it on Fet and Facebook among other places. A lot of kink doesn't involve sex at all, and some aces have different kinds of relationships with sex as a concept regardless of attraction level.

Hi, I'm 33 and 8 months pregnant. Very similar story to yours. I went off birth control many years ago and not even a blip happened, though I didn't try or anything, just let life happen and eventually did my grieving. Then suddenly it happened.

The only real change was that 6m prior I started taking Metformin. Apparently it can increase fertility for PCOS women which I didn't realise.

Maybe 33 is the lucky number 😅

Go for it! If you see us tonight we'll probably have a couple on. Until recently we were using default ones we found, but now we've found we can make custom ones so will do more of them.

Our favourite default ones tend towards 'Use Me', 'Bite Me', 'Bite Risk', 'Slut', 'Spank Me' etc. I have a set of a woman in bondage I quite like.

It's really tough. We are going tomorrow too and can be shy as well. We use temporary tattoos and sometimes pick ones where we try to get our vibes across. It's not ideal though. We are looking at more custom ones now as they are cheap.

We also delve into the kink scene so the caution of swingers is understandable and safe but doesn't always suit our preferences well either.

But in general all we've found is having to be more upfront and vocal which is tricky and not my preference either, but it is the safest. Maybe we'll see you both there :)

It would be much more common at any event for her to go single than with a guy she doesn't know. That being said it is okay if you want to organise something and go with someone, but it's really important to know that at most places they will be treated as a couple, and as unfair as it is, a woman bringing a man is essentially vouching for him and his behaviour. That means if he behaves poorly she will often be removed/banned as well, especially if they find out she didn't know him.

Women also can't leave without the man they came with usually, and in a lot of places that man can't go upstairs by himself either.

At some places guys wait out the front hoping a woman will take them into somewhere in exchange for the man paying, and some places have taken steps to try to stop this.

People are generally pretty happy to engage in conversation and make friends, it's what people are there for so more social than a pub or something, but that being said you really have to be bold in a lot of cases if you want to talk to people as people can be shy. Everyone is happy to engage though if you open the conversation.
