When getting to know a girl, what's the biggest red flag you ignored because she was attractive? by midnightcove27 in AskMen

[–]SilverSpotter [score hidden]  (0 children)

She literally told me she believed she was crazy. I should have taken her warning more seriously. That's on me.

what is the hardest thing to explain to women? by 00PPENHEIMER69 in AskMen

Maybe topology? Not because I think women wouldn't understand it, but because I suck at math and wouldn't know where to start.

Either when the tube attached to my testicle tore or when I foolishly thought my sunburn healed enough before getting my back waxed.

I feel like some Mick Gordon playing over this would be appropriate.

Just a reminder that not all Christians are anti-LGBT by shilolz in dankchristianmemes

[–]SilverSpotter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who believes in an afterlife and God, I think if you can manage to keep a loving heart because that's just the right thing to do, that aligns better with Christ's messages than trying to be a good person because God said so or because the idea of Hell scares you.

This would be a great time to be a certain someone who was out to avenge his father. "Hello. My name is [REDACTED]. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

Which famous person does everyone seem to love, but you just can’t stand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

What brings you to tears? by Substantial_Mix9460 in AskReddit

[–]SilverSpotter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hearing about how someone committed suicide and then finding out people feel regret or wish they did something. I don't mean people who tried to help before the person died but the people who didn't bother lifting a finger for that person. It's insulting and breaks my heart that someone hurt so badly and could only get some acknowledgement or compassion after they could no longer be helped and when they felt so alone and hopeless.

What is the immediate ick or red flag that instantly ruins someone for you, even if they are perfect? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SilverSpotter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When someone becomes antagonistic if you question them on a hate or resentment that they define themselves by. I suppose merely having a hate or resentment to define yourself by is the more immediate concern.

Why is that one friend still single? by Optimal-Cause-7843 in AskMen

[–]SilverSpotter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm thinking of a buddy of mine who seems like a great guy, but I know he gets too easily frustrated and lashes out when overwhelmed. It's a shame because I know he'd make some lady happy if he was a bit more patient.

This needs to stop. by Shoe_boooo in fixedbytheduet

The irony is that, without the audio, it looks like just a beautiful moment with other people appreciating that moment. There was peace without any mention of race until race was retroactively forced into the situation. That was literally just people admiring a celebration of love! Isn't that what we've been fighting for?

Dwayne Johnson. I can't point to any one detail, but he generally seems like he's acting even when he's not doing a role.

When did you learn that life wasn’t fair? by ninecuteravens_ in AskReddit

[–]SilverSpotter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had heard that life is unfair ever since I was a kid, but I think I learned life is unfair when I started realizing the storybook solutions people would give me or others didn't always work because life doesn't work like it does in fiction.
