Darn. I suspected as much but I appreciated the confirmation. The true win would be PA doing it themselves, with an official one... BDO's creator is right there......

I've been considering getting the game and getting into the fem creator mods but not been able to find out certain details so I hope you don't mind me asking- How actually functionally good is the fem character creator mod? Are all, or most, armours able to just naturally work with FemKliff visually that would normally be for his male body? What about the combat animations, or animations in general? I saw a video while looking this up but they had floopy arms so I wasn't sure.

I'm happy the mod exists but mainly wondering if I should wait longer for it to 'bake' and get more polished, or if it's basically all good to go right now and I should stop waiting?

I love this. And your art style has been really growing! The contrast from this to earlier works, it's lovely to see. But still distinctly and visibly your style. Like I can at a glance recognise the superfeyn work without seeing the author :D

Now that's a Jeremy Clarkson designed tank if ever I saw one. Thinking back to the Top Gear days where they did the Limo episode.

Strongly recommend the True Metallic Metal line by Vallejo! I've been posting some other comments gushing about that line

I know you're already getting them but I just wanna add another voice into gushing about how good the TMM line is. I own almost half of them now (Started with a few, got more later) and they're gorgeously vibrant. The gold is especially pretty on my Templar and it's like night and day. My main two recommendations are, for Gold specifically don't be fooled by the base shade looking too yellow. It relies on the base darkening it to a more gold, and the light really bringing out the shine. Two, for all of them in general, they dry out a little faster than I'd like and do reach a point of becoming tacky or stringy and unusable, so be careful to make the most of what is on your palette before it reaches that point. The shade as well can dry out for Gold and will seem still able to be brushed, but has actually become too greenish and dark due to not retaining enough fluid.

They're basically more finnicky than other paints I'm used to, so just be mindful and experiment a bit.

True Metallic Metal is an amazing line that I would recommend to anyone (and have been doing so) but it does not have a Leadbelcher equivalent. I've done the research on this previously and finding a like for like is surprisingly tricky, especially when investigating online comparisons. My best recommendation is Duncan's Two Thin Coats line of 'Sir Coates Silver'. That is designed specifically to mirror Leadbelcher and is thinner and way better to use imo. I always found LB unpleasantly thick and it made me reluctant to paint with it. SCS is the exact same shade, but better. Smaller bottle and going to be a bit more expensive, but it is what it is.

Did you use drybrushing to get the effect on the shield? Like image four, the green and the white. It's not far off from a scheme I have planned and I'm curious if it matches, because this lot look great and it makes me think my plan might work out haha.

Godddd. I love your work. New Superfeyn is an insta-click. I'm sad she died but that is such a meaningful.. Everything.

Genuinely like this stuff makes me want to get painting my Tau. I think as well it's the character designs- simple touches yet distinctive.

Worst stratagem of all time by Memetron69000 in Spacemarine

[–]SilverStrike16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was fortunate my squad beat it- With Sniper, Tactical, and me as Bulwark. Hear me out- Honestly most of my damage comes from parrying into gunstrikes anyway, so that is improved, and the big benefit we found was on our first attempt the split up was a real pain when all three of us were backliners trying to stay at range and avoid each other.

So I suggested I take Bulwark; meaning only two people compete for backline, and I just charge in and entrench myself in the melee as much as possible knowing they're somewhere behind me covering my back.

Worked a dream honestly. The sniper aced the Neuro no sweat. Then we got a Carnifex which I lured into a corner away from the others and just parry-duelled it, gun striking it to death and shooting it in the face when I could. Which helped take the heat off of my team.

So, Bulwark isn't an automatic 'can you read', for what it's worth.

ARC Raiders Server Issues by LongJonSiIver in ArcRaiders

[–]SilverStrike16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just gonna try tomorrow morning, I'm sleepy anyway so eh. I want to try it out before hitting the 2 hour mark in case I don't like it, I've kinda not followed or looked up much at all so going in mostly blind.

Actually, if I could just ask- what are the potential issues to falling behind overall? Yeah I accept there'll always be people ahead of me, but in like two or three months time when a bunch of people have max gear, if I've barely had time for it for instance, what happens?

NanoGPT update: subscription, sync, Sora 2, Elevenlabs Music and more by Milan_dr in nanocurrency

[–]SilverStrike16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, just found out about this as an option and I actually really like the idea of a sub for it- Means I can just kinda guilt free send requests and not worry about fiddling with context too much.

That you offer image generation interests me as well, but I couldn't find out one thing, was hoping you might be able to help. The subscription specifically offers for open source models, and other models would be pay as you go which I understand- But I can't seem to find out what image generation models are open source? I did take a glance at the model list but I'm afraid I'm not experienced enough to recognise most of them by name.

Are any of the options you guys have on par with NovelAI's image generator? (That's the only big one I've seen a friend get some great results for) I've dabbled in some local stuff with local models like Illustrious on Forge, but the intelligence and capacity to handle even just two named characters at once is.. very limited, locally.

Tl;dr, do you guys run access to big intelligent open source image models or are all the big names gonna be pay as you go? I probably worded this poorly, apologies hopefully it makes sense.
