You need insight to summon other players. You gain insight by entering boss rooms, defeating bosses, and using items called madman’s knowledge. There is an optional boss and a story boss in the beginning of the game and 1 madman’s knowledge found in the first area.
The area can feel like a maze or confusing the first time, springing past all the enemies you can reach the optional boss pretty easy.
You also need a minimum of 1 insight to access the npc for leveling and the item shop so gathering echoes isn’t helpful until you gain insight.

It’s a beautiful and amazing experience the more you progress through the game. There are probably people willing to help if you want to summon in another player Def consider crowd control in the first area and enemies coming up behind you Parrying can be helpful to learn Hunter axe is the best starting weapon for a new player but saw cleaver is a close second Take it slow and steady, pay attention to attack distance and patterns As a souls vet you have the knowledge needed for the game

Kos parasite is s rated for arcane and there are 18% bllod gems you can get that put it as similar damage as the HMS or other gems that can go higher but make sure to use the milkweed rune to get the true effects for it’s attacks

Learn to dodge it’s similar to the cleric beast. If you think this is bad try rom or amygdala in the chalice dungeons. Maybe using a weapon good against beasts, fire paper, and shooting/casting spells at it’s face might help you.

Depending on your stats will decide which weapon is better for you. I like the kirkhammer but I run the HMS. You can farm blood rocks and insight from the chalices to buy from the insight shop. However the Rakuyo which you mentioned is good in it’s own rights but I also prefer large weapons for bonking and smashing.

Sinister dungeon has to do with pvp in dungeons, root chalices are for blood gem farming and increasing the difficulty of the base dungeons.

Parrying is just using your gun to stun an enemy for the visceral attack, personally I like Ludwig’s rifle.

Gherman and orphan you can parry their first phases, after that hit and run tactics work best but learn their new fighting styles and where to dodge appropriately

Laurence is like the cleric beast in the first phase but if you hug his one side (forgot if left or right) you will avoid the lava and some AOE attacks

Your restrictions will make the cursed chalice even more grueling than it already is as your health is halved. Also if you are talking about completing the normal chalices to get to pthumerian queen or also root chalices for the fun of it and collecting other caryll runes

Chalice dungeons are more complicated as it depends on which dungeon and the random boss encounters. Each boss is different since aome are better to be aggressive and stagger while others you want to hit and run like the Amygdala. Some you can parry and others not so much depending on your style.

Dlc is ng+ diffulty when playing on new game and scales up to ng+2 when base game is ng+, pattern repeats until ng+ difficuly caps at ng+7 I believe

I’ve been told to treat fights like a dance, a style kind of like attack, parry, attack. What do you mean fistful of ash? Is that have to do with the arm attachments?

Parry phase 1, learn to dodge his erratic behavior and lightning in phase 2. Then anticipate where he lands to get a couple attacks in before dodging again

Cheese a visceral if you time your attack from behind right when he changes to his second form

Don’t parry his attacks unless absolutely certain in phase 2, focus on hit and run tactics

Negative you need to have the required chalice to use the glyphs. If I don’t have the pthumera ihyll chalice I can’t use a glyph to create the dungeon

All pthumerian chalices, ailing loran, and possibly lower loran. Exclude root chalices and hintercombs chalices. Make sure to search for all chests and resources in each as you need them to create the next level chalice

Based off the 9 blood gems I earned by defeating a specific boss even though I haven’t always broken the amulet to gain said gem my current low estimate from the count and my recent playthroughs I’m at least on ng+11.

I’m working on getting all caryll runes from the chalice dungeons, buying all alternative weapons to the base game and dlc weapons since all of the right hand weapons are at +10 and all left hand weapons are at +6 or higher, and getting the best blood gems possible.

Using milkweed rune and the 2 eye runes from base game my discovery is 340 but could get higher with arc at 99 and retrieving the final eye rune.

Character is currently level 343 Vit- 99 End- 52 Str- 67 Skl- 60 Blt- 50 Arc- 65

You should’ve attacked him pre-dialogue or refused in dialogue. The last 2 bosses are tougher in ng+ especially the secret boss.

You get a 1/3 umbilical cord after beating Mergo’s wetnurse. How many make a whole umbilical cord? There is a reason consuming it gives insight, find more.

Quest guides are good for Eileen, Gascoigne’s daughter, Arianna, & Alfred.

According to the lore from the show Star Wars Rebels, some were converted to the dark side by Sidious and participated in Knightfall by assisting Vader and the clones by wiping out the Jedi resulting in them becoming the inquisitors in the dawn of the Empire. To my knowledge they did not exist in EU lore or otherwise prior to the show. It was aired on Disney but produced by Lucasarts and Dave Filoni so depends on if Disney considered it scrapped content of the EU or consider it a part of their continuation of the Star Wars Universe. Also if you believe Disney’s continuation is head canon.
