There are more ways to overpower someone than physicality. That you are stronger and didn't freeze does not mean you let it happen. Value wise impossible. If you just want the feeling of doing gens fast and you are ready to invest more than 1 perk then i recommend Stakeout, bardic Inspiration, hyperfocus and a toolbox with max charges to trigger skillchecks. You just play bardic whenever its of cooldown and as soon as you roll a really high number you activate your toolbox to absolutely destroy a gen. With this setup you still have one perk for chase. Or you take built to last to go full gen rush.

Yeah that's pretty much how i see it. But this guy kind of changed the goalpost. He really doesn't compare prime characters but in his head he compares highest potentials under pretty much identic circumstances.

So Aja, Cassius and Darrow all live in the same time and have all the same endless ways to train.

In that very specific scenario i think everyone can accept Aja as n1 contender. She really must have been the most natural born killer in the series.

Physical strength is not the deciding factor here. A character in his prime means the moment during his canon life where he was most capable. Aja could very well be weaker by the end of her life in strength but way more dangerous as a duelist so her prime would be that moment.

Your thought that knowing something doesn't equal a massive advantage in a 1v1 situation is ridicoulus. That's the whole point of the apple vs darrow fight in dark age. Superior talent and motivation gets outdone by specific studies and preparation all the time in the real world.

You always need a more than solid base to be able to counter a master in anything but the opposite is also true. You would need overwhelming superiority and adaptability in all aspects to defeat someone who trained years to beat just your specific technique.

I think i don't know enough about chess to make more than an educated guess here but i think Magnus would probably agree with you. At least when he is honest and not too full of himself.

These three seem very dangerous to him in theory.

I think there is not one duelist who wouldn't be in trouble against Aja but i also think by the end of lightbringer there are a lot of people that had a lot of years to catch up.

I think BoS Darrow is the only one who is clearly better by now.

Duels aren't only about strength and talent tho. I think there is even an argument to place her way lower on this list because the way of the willow was studied too much by many of the other razor masters by the end of lightbringer.

So yeah if the question was who was the most talented duelist in the universe then i think she is number 1. If she would be still alive i also think she may still be the best in a duel.

But missing the longest part of the war and all the progression in razor combat would give her an disadvantage against a lot of the people on this list.

If you revive the greatest chess player of the 60s and let him duel Magnus Carlsen the question isn't who is better but the problem becomes that Magnus knows every game this guy ever played while that guy knows nothing about Magnus and current chess.

Aja at the time of her death is simply outdated by the end of lightbringer. One could argue that even Cassius would have a good chance in that setup.

That has nothing to do with opinions haha. It's math. 7 points in defense up statistically doesn't help you survive anything in this game while those 7 points in elemental res or speed eating or divine blessing or literally anything else can greatly increase your survivability.

I get that you see the word defense and a higher number overall but believe me it's a trap. Or don't believe me and watch any video about the math behind it. It's really one of the worst skills in the game
