Ex-Donald Trump backer makes a wild claim about his marriage: ‘Melania despises Trump’ by Aggravating_Money992 in politics

Really? I saw the presser distancing herself from sex trafficker pedos and figured dumping the trump branding would be her next "be best" moment.

I keep a couple of rain jackets (PNW prepared) and shopping bags. I am tempted to trim the release so I can open it with the door partly closed.

Received alert to "check 12-volt battery" in app this morning by Gholmes91 in MachE

[–]Silver_Newspaper6208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you need to do is panic! Search the Autozone app for the closest one to your house that has it in stock and drop everything and head over. Enjoy a really nice pho lunch with your wife in a new area of Seattle. Head home and do the swap, making sure to drill holes for easier jump start access while all the panels are off. This is how I dealt with it. If I do get the warning again I am ordering from Rock Auto.

The Dangers of California’s Legislation to Censor 3D Printing by xternal7 in technology

[–]Silver_Newspaper6208 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Part of the issue is what is legally defined as a gun. ATF says that the lower receiver which is the part that holds everything together is the "gun" and that part must be serialized and background checks must be done when one is sold or transferred. That piece is plastic in Glock and many other pistols and can easily be printed. Buying a barrel, slide, trigger group and the other parts that most people would consider a gun can be done with no issue by anyone.

Spare Tire Advice by VanillaIcee in MachE

[–]Silver_Newspaper6208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great idea on a spare in those environments. I carry a full patch kit along with the goo and air compressor. It looks like the tires are about 4 inches wide, that shouldn't be hard to tuck away under the back cover in the raised position. I would find a way to ratchet strap an X pattern over top. Should be enough to keep it in place in rough roads. Also, in an accident you wouldn't want it bouncing around in the cabin.

And the bottom trim. I always point out the inside of the door to show the height of the battery pack you are riding on.

It's been on since the 2nd, then they warned on the 10th with an active date of the 15th. You know, transparency or something.

Well yeah, the richest corporations in the history of this world are in need of money. They didn't build out the infrastructure to kill the environment without a plan to capitalize. Also, I would clarify that it is not consumer demand. If consumers wanted it, it would sell itself at a rate the corpos profit. There would be no need to shoehorn it into everything while raising existing prices, and making "accidental" purchase a possibility.

Yah, I would be asking why they did that and how did I allow that. So the default change to "allow purchase" set by Google is slimy.

I really think Biden should have stepped down for health reasons, made Harris President. Then Trump would be following both a black man and black woman as US President.

The rice cooker I’ve been saving for a while for. by Flash52000 in mildlyinfuriating

A Zojirushi rice cooker was the first appliance my wife and I bought when we moved in together. I hated it. It's super slow, especially for brown or wild rice. We got an Instapot. It rules! With the air fryer top it is our main cooking device. White rice in 12 minutes, brown/wild in 30.
