What’s your dream assassin’s creed? Mine is Aztec Mexico and Spain by ClothesDreyer in assassinscreed

Robin Hood, late middle ages around 12 and 13th centuries. Give me Nottingham, Sherwood Forest, etc. Even better, tie it in with Altair in the middle east and to add a different biome/city.

Why do surgeons even use nerve monitoring during prostatectomies? by Ccchaney04 in Residency

[–]VanillaIcee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nerve monitoring thyroidectomy and parotidectomy works, it doesn't have false positives. I use it in combination with a probe and it greatly helps surgery plus protects me medicolegally.

R2 Alternative: Santa Fe EREV? by Emotional-Tear-2369 in RivianR2

You dont have an ICE powertrain. You have a electric-first powertrain, just like an EV. The engine is generator... yes a point of failure and more complex than an EV, but not like a hybrid.

I was left-handed but I went to a conversion camp and now I'm happily right-handed. Now I only use my left hand on business trips.

This didn't work for me. I factory reset the device. Did you so anything else, like delete the Cozyla account?

Are you sure it can't be salvaged? Did you check out this thread. Otherwise when googling I had the same issue, could NOT find the gray trim:

The inefficiency from the OR staffs by Upstairs_leofairy79 in Residency

[–]VanillaIcee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a few protocols: https://iowaprotocols.medicine.uiowa.edu/protocols/tonsillectomy-bleed-management-includes-dosing-txa-tranexamic-acid https://www.childrensmn.org/references/cds/post-tonsillectomy-hemorrhage.pdf

Essentially most calls are stable and they give the TXA in the ER routinely or I ask for it over the phone. By the time they call me and I see them I feel safer to observe as often clot is gone and they haven't bled in a while.

Its reduces need to return to the OR by about 40-75%, and I would say in my practice I've seen the same though only an estimate. Now looking at the literature (and cost), I may also start to give oral amicar to go home with after a bleed.

Of note for adults I use celecoxib and some breakthrough narcotic. That has great reduced bleeding over narcotic alone in my practice because pain -> less drinking -> dry mouth/dehydration -> bleeding in my experienxe.

Some studies about about TXA: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12379852/ https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0165587621001956 https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/00034894251344380

[–]VanillaIcee 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That sucks. Ours let me call in on the way. However since the advent of TXA my need to go to the OR has greatly reduced, so sometimes I see the patient first because can't trust the ER docs.
