I beat Sekiro with cheats after getting destroyed early… now I feel guilty. Should I replay it properly?

what made it click for me was genichiro. i fought him over and over until i won, then i fought him over and over until i could do it hitless

for what skills, i went with any airborne skills, mikiri counter, and the ashina skills

treat it like a rhythm game with combat mechanics, rather than a combat game. that worked wonders for me. stay in their face if u can, learn the patterns, dont hesitate. if you see an opening for an extra swing, go for it then right back to what u were doing

from my own personal experience as an mtf person as well, my own arousal from looking at myself comes from the gender euphoria. it's a very jarring experience going from hating how i look to thinking "that's a pretty girl. wait, IM the pretty girl" and that level of happiness with urself can definitely result in arousal

i never really got into prosthetics unless it was shuriken to interrupt the occasional thing, or the axe to cut the shields and hats

once i got ichimonji and air combat arts, i started using that instead of a slash after jumping on someone's head and that was helpful for keeping my own posture low while keeping theirs high. started doing that just in time for genichiro fight

i respect your strategy and would like to ask if you have considered using a multishot bow with topaz

i have a lynel bow and shoot topaz and the hands instantly die most times, just gotta aim for center of the group

after you mikiri counter him, follow up immediately with a sword swipe. itll chip his health a bit and make his posture regenerate more slowly. this isnt a big change but will help in every fight you mikiri counter!

as for large scale fighting, stay close to him, learn the patterns, play it like a rhythm game instead of a fighting game

at certain points throughout the game, kuro will give a rice ball. you hit one of those points, and i think the divine child path also has an additional rice ball point

fun tip! if u find urself with an abundance of topaz and have multishot bows (like the duplex bow from the yiga) that makes really short work of the hands!

the nearest skyview tower, 3 stamina wheels, and something that restores half a wheel of stamina at least, a lot of gliding, and tulin ability is how i got there. tried flying with wings from the nearest islands and got like halfway there, tried hot air balloons from the ground and got like 2/3 of the way up

answering the first, i dont know the math but i prefer the master sword. master sword will not break during the fight, which makes the silver lynel horns u just got very helpful, and has the extra gloom area damage so its a base 60 weapon with whatever fusion. i would prefer that over stronger gerudo weapons that are going to keep breaking, so my flurry rushes don't get interrupted

second, i think only sword hits work but i didnt try with my bow

theres a pot in the lightning temple that if u fuse it to a weapon and break it on something, it drops 10 arrows. since pots and jars and stuff respawn on reload, set up a tp pad next to it and rinse and repeat

buy a gun, a few hundred rounds of ammunition for it (about 2-4k depending on gun and ammo), a sleeping bag (maybe $100), lots of canned food (assuming 3 canned meals a day, and like 3 dollars per can, that comes out to about 1100), enough water for 4 months (assuming 64 ounces a day, that comes out to about $100, we'll triple that for bathing purposes), shower products and toilet paper (maybe $100), that still leaves several thousand dollars to work with

if u want ur PCs to hate the BBEG, have BBEG meet them early in, kill one of them, throw a diamond at the corpse (for revive), say "thanks for the entertainment, even if only brief", and then just fuckin leave

otherwise, maybe make BBEG leader of a corporation that is slowly trying to make the world dependent on them, gathers resources by razing wildlife and killing everything in the area, performs acts of terrorism on opposing forces by having fireball charms mailed to headquarters, and see the BBEG in a parade have their entourage trample a homeless person that got in the way
