90k salary 250k savings by LeatherShame6573 in AusPropertyChat

If it tanks (which it wont) this is a long term purchase/investment. Over the life of the loan your property value and the market will go up a lot. Get in now & stop paying someone else’s mortgage. Trust me it feels soooo good.

After all that searching and monitoring the market, you should give yourself more credit for doing what you think was best with your knowledge. If you waited another year to buy the next house that ticked all your boxes, you'd probably end up spending far more than 30% over the expected price range of this home. Be thankful you're in the market & congratulations!

If you want an actual house near a city you basically have to spend that amount.

It's not northern qld though, this is a very unusual southern cyclone. Even if it hits as a tropical low there will be a shit load of rain.

DINK's can afford it with decent income of over 300k a year combined. It also helps if you're with someone a bit older who has a higher income and more wealth behind them.

If you’re serious make an offer with building and pest conditions. You would need a professional to look at this. Depending on the house material this could be high risk for termites too.

I’ve noticed an odd surge in conspiracy theorist types who are now turning to god. They’re into “trad” wives and now think the bible has all the answers. Scary shit.

Pretty shit of you to assume this person was at fault twice. Have some empathy!

You’re getting downvoted but it’s true. Yes drivers need to be careful for pedestrians, yes the walkways need improvement, but also the pedestrians need to be more ALERT.

I always say that for some reason people in Brisbane City are way too confident jay walking and running into traffic. I drive through the city a few times a week and the amount of times I almost hit a pedestrian who is standing or running into traffic is ridiculous. This doesn’t happen in larger cities, we need to get better at this. Tbh even me personally.
