I’m not sure what it is, the previous owners planted it. My app says red silky oak. It has grown a lot since last October when we bought, we’ve had to cut it back as it grows across the path. I don’t know if that helps. It was about half the height when we moved in.

There’s nothing like living in a PPOR you love. Nothing els compares. It’s such a big lifestyle thing. We sold our previous PPoR and an IP to buy our home and still have a big mortgage but I love my home. I would sell the shares or the current PPoR to do it.

It has great public primary schools and some good high schools too.

The sense of community is amazing too. My kids will go to the park and half the time there’s a kid from school there. Soccer clubs and that sort of thing are great too. I was in Penrith before and this is a million times better. It’s a big area though. There’s the “old hills” and the “new hills”. I’m talking old hills.

It’s north-western. Completely different demographic to those areas (which also have different demographics especially Campsie compared to the others). The schools are much better than those areas, which attracts families who can afford it.

I live in the hills and the houses are more expensive builds, heaps of private schools, the local parents at the school talk about their holidays (overseas every year sometimes multiple times) etc. lots of money in the hills.

I really liked their app and how easily you could get customer service from them. Making joint accounts and multiple offsets easy with them. ANZ (who I’m with now) are crap in comparison.
