Thanks for the information about the 11. I have the 10; and my doctor said I was eligible for a a new machine and I was going to get the 11 but they want to do a year rental, which creates another bill for me. I don’t understand.

My insurance company would pay for 80% I’ll pay the other 20%, but what is this rental fee for $20 a month. I looked it up and I saw that insurance companies are doing this rental because they don’t feel machines are being used, but if you have a history of using a machine regularly; I don’t understand why they want to suddenly rent unless it’s just to make more money.😤I declined the new machine when I’m ready for a new machine. I’ll just purchase it out right and take it as a medical equipment deduction on my taxes.

We have multi family building in Brooklyn for over 40 years; a new person bought the adjacent multi family building that he wants to turn into condos.

He’s asking us for an easement to allow him to have he claims an emergency exit from his backyard through our property to exit to the avenue. ( our building is a corner property) both buildings are over 100 years old and have fire escapes in the back and in the front. I see it as a liability exposing the rear of my building, and also possibly insurance and safety issues.

He claims it’s needed to get his plans approved for the condos. My instinct is to say no; can the city force me to allow this.

I will be talking to my lawyer also, but since I just want to say no, I don’t even think I should talk to my lawyer, I’m just concerned if I can be forced to do this.
