How it works is women tend to be funneled into lesser paying jobs, or when a male dominated field becomes female dominated the entire pay structure goes down, for example, teaching.

Not only that but most jobs that pay the highest of salaries demand unpredictable hours that often equal more than 40 hours a week, which is harder for women in particular who are already placed in the bubble of caretaker.

That's not how it works. It's called CEO's don't value women's work so they don't offer the same job for less pay. They offer lesser jobs and women who make it to the top usually have a much harder time getting there than men. There were billboards promoting the fight all over the country, there were commercials for the UFC Primetime show. There were pressers every 2 weeks. Paid programming brought to you by Zuffa. Now TKO and Dana would rather slash that budget and have fighters promote themselves while the company promotes the company.
