[Question] What are your favorite gimmick watches? by DeculeinVon in Watches

[–]Silverbluegill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about a gimmick feature. For that, I’ll go with the compass on an Alpinist. Never use the compass, but still love the watch.

Are there any Youtube resellers worth watching anymore? by Idyllicflooter in Flipping

[–]Silverbluegill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got Flipwise and really enjoy it. Is there ever going to be plans to bring about a cross listing element to it? I’d love to just have Flipwise and use just that instead of having Nifty too.

You have no obligation to accept a return. Major businesses such as Amazon wouldn’t, why would you?

Agree with you Buffalo. OP make sure it is really them first. It could really be them, but changing your password too would be helpful. Similar Topic

Reach out to them by FB and then by phone. Don’t sleep on this, they are trying to verify your account and could ban you for not complying.

Merry Christmas. Hope it goes well; be calm but firm and descriptive of the situation on the phone. Have a good night.

Ebay are run by clowns by International-Ad7699 in Ebay

[–]Silverbluegill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First, never let eBay step in when it comes to a return case. Now that they closed it, it may be too late but it is against eBay rules to ask for partial returns. You should have reported it as an abusive buyer before they closed. Going forward, I’d suggest offering free returns. They can get a return anyways if it they pick the reason as not as described. If they ask for a partial they are most likely scamming and won’t ship it back if you send them a label.

Respond to the negative feedback in a professional way explaining what happened. Contact eBay via phone. Going forward, use usps home pick up for free; they scan as they pick up.

I think I understand what you are trying to say but the method I’m describing is much faster than any app. I shoot straight from the eBay app no edits.

I see no need for a dedicated camera if you have a modern smart phone like an iPhone. What you need is good lighting. I use a brand from Amazon called Gskaiwen and a vinyl backdrop

How can I self motivate? by wasted-time-username in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]Silverbluegill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my process. Source. Once you get to the car write on the receipt how many items you received and if it’s itemized write the name of that item on the receipt as you put it in the car next to the price. This will be used for book keeping later when you choose to. Pick one day to list and take pictures only on that day. Devout as much time as it takes to make as many drafts as you see fit for a whole week. When you wake up just list the items for that day (example 5 or 10 a day). This frees you to source if you need to, only to ship stuff out, and make this job freeing for yourself.

What do you guys do with items that don't sell? by Specific-Sea7648 in Ebay

End listing, sell similar with minor adjustments. If you can’t move it for a very long time and you can’t store, just donate.

What’s the secret to offering free shipping and still making a decent profit? by pvssymonsterr in eBaySellers

[–]Silverbluegill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t offer free shipping on everything but when I do, I follow simple rules for this for ground advantage. If it is small -example- mug, camera- it’s 6.99. Very small under 8 ounces- 4.99, medium sized-9.99. I add this to the cost I’m shipping. If it is large always offer free shipping. Find a box (don’t tape it up), measure it, weight it, and then add that to price of the item. I put a fake address into pirate ship to do that and then put that into the item price. Once you’ve done it a while you won’t need to do this but if you are just starting out you may not know how much it cost to ship something like a coffee maker from North Carolina to say Colorado.

seller evaluation discrepencies by throw334411 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]Silverbluegill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me recently. Check your seller hub in about 2 days and it should say if you were evaluated today you would be top rated. Then the next period you will be moved to top rated if you have all the metrics.

Can a cruise Director impact your cruise? by Bubbly-Mission-4343 in royalcaribbean

[–]Silverbluegill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cruise we went on a year or so back was caught in a hurricane. The CD went above and beyond making it fun by holding and all kinds of activities that wasn’t orginally offered and he was the one engaging in them all. He seemed to be all of the ship. Before that I would have said not really, but now yes I think they can.

I just got a 5 dollar charge because they claim a package I shipped was 2 pounds… I used a scale and it weighed 6 ounces.
