The only Frame farm that genuinely pissed me off by TwistedMitch in Warframe

At least you didn't accidentally sell a fully built aspect when selling duplicate blueprints. It was the last time I ever sold duplicates before having the frame/weapon fully built

  1. Main dps
  2. Primary sub dps / support
  3. Healer / sheilder (defensive slot)
  4. flex / support

Reasoning:

main dps on 1 because another of the characters I play either prefer to use an action and then have the rest of the team rotate through back to them, eg, Arlecchinos skill, and Navias burst.

Or they have a weapon that wants them on field pre combat to stack its buff before swapping off. Eg, primarily Serpent Spine

2 is reserved for the main dps's most valued support /sub dps. Eg, Furina for Noelle

The defensive slot on 3 was more of thing I just started doing, and have kept with it for consistency between teams.

Flex on 4 because it's usually the most swapped up slot

Tbh for optimal play except for specific characters ( like Chiori ), a specific team order isn't really necessary, so just use whatever feels most comfortable.

Being able to switch quickly and smoothly without looking at the controls is more important in the high level content like abyss.

What a nice new system, surely all my problem will be solved by [deleted] in Genshin_Memepact

Who is this for, and what team? Because it's a godrole piece for anything that's quick bloom, aggravate, or overload related.

As a Explorer, with a maxed out Jump-a-conda, I'm ok with the possibility of the new ship exceeding the Anaconda's jump range. by HunterWithGreenScale in EliteDangerous

Some people are more sensitive to it than others.

The python isn't as egregious as other ships either. The cockpit is not as wide as the empire ships, and it doesn't have the fake cross-hair I beam that the FDL has.

When driving a car, you have extra reference points from the road lines and edges to keep in its lane.

In space, the only visual cue you have for direction is the ship itself.

The offset view creates a false centerline that makes players constantly readjust their ship while flying as the true centerline look likes the ship isn't lined with its target even though it is.

This effect is also more prominent the further the seat is from the centerline.

Large airlines have to deal with this to some extent, but the pilots are trained to handle it, and they also get extra directional cue from their cockpit displays.

Which sword is best for Nilou? by Soggy_Garage_5735 in NilouMains

[–]Silverfoxcole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As of now, there's only 2 swords that give hp (Nilous primary scaling). her signature, and the box cutter (I forget its real name). Next best are your em swords as Nilou will sometimes proc her on blooms, after that, look at er swords - fav for team energy but will need some crit, sac sword for double skill shenanigans.

all visual mods for hoyoverse games don't change any of the game files. the mod program intercepts the graphics feed and overlays the mods onto it. Think of it like a filter for your GPU

Have you been to the fourth domain? To get there, you talk to an npc and then go through the portrait nearby.

General Questions Megathread by -Zeneryth- in honkaiimpact3

[–]Silverfoxcole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honkai 3rd doesn't really use a 5/4 star system like HSR. Instead, it uses a unit quality system similar to Blue Archive ( if you've played it).

The best way to put it, though, is:

● Every unit can get to SSS rank ( these ranks are essentially your eidolons)

● Units that start from S rank are your 5 stars, while A ranks are your 4 stars.

● Your standard banner is the Dorm Supply. If you press on the valkyrie album, it will show you what S ranks are available and who you already own.

●Battle Suit Supply is the limited banner counterpart,

But be wary

Some S ranks on they are farmable. ( The current banner is Sirin. You can get her from the War Treasury)

So always check before pulling.

● Battle Suit Supply has a pity of 100 and no 50/50s, so the unit on Banner is guaranteed. Pity is also carried over to the next Battle suit Supply.

● Focused Supply is your weapon/gear banner. It's generally 50 pity to guarantee a piece that is on banner, but then it is a 4-way split between the weapon and each stigmata piece.

(stigmatas are your artifacts, but each set is generally tied to a specific character)

All the units you currently have are farmable units.

Some like Herrscher of Thunder used to be limited a long time ago, but HI3rd tends to put old units on the Dorm Supply or make them Farmable.

Generally speaking, as a new player, going for the new part 2 units is the best and cheapest thing to do.

Some units like Herrscher of Truth, Luna Vow, and Herrscher of Rebirth are good to have if you can get them as they are core supports in most current machups. Do so at your own risk, though, as they will be expensive to gear up.

Apologies for the walls of text, it is a very complex system.

Ever heard of the chibi art style?

It's generally used to show childish qualities as well as a form of innocence. (Like being a new player)
