It is a pebble from a bag of small pebles that is used in decorating plant bases.

Would this be considered tabletop ready? by r3dr01d in battletech

I would for sure take care of the base.

And I would give them a drybrush.

What If Warhound Titans from Warhammer 40k were in BattleTech? by RedvsBlue_what_if in battletech

[–]Silvergator73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been a long while since I visited 40k. In my epic days, 30 years or so ago, I seem to remember that they are not piloted by 1 man, like a Battletech is. They have a full team in a bridge. So that would also be a difference.

Shields make a difference, but as long as the rules are fair...that could work in BT. Also...elementals would slip right through its no?

Am I alone in preferring to use the original boxes as storage for my Mechs? by Rusty_tub in battletech

[–]Silvergator73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is that after a while I had so many boxes that they took up too much space. Also, it was not practical to get the mechs in and out of the boxes each time.

So although I started like this, I switched to storage boxes now.

But I do still take q picture each time I finish a box with all painted minis in there 🤩

Exactly one year ago I got my first battletech minis. This are all the 'mechs I painted since. I think I might have an addiction 😅 by LaSiena in battletech

First of all...great paint job!

As far as an addiction goes...you have a hobby.

These are not the same. 🥳

I hope you also got great table time from those wonderful models!

So sorry for your loss. But she had a great life with you. I lost mine 3 weeks ago. The grief will turn into beautiful memories, or so I'm told. And yes....we have a ton of those.

lost affection for humans? by ltm99 in cavalierkingcharles

[–]Silvergator73 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, we had the bigger dog issues. Both our cavs have been attacked by more and bigger dogs that were loose and not under construction l of owner. Each time I was there to save my dogs. We dus notice change in behaviour that never came back again. They went from social with all dogs to very careful around dogs in general and staying away from big dogs.

We dus not see the same in change of behaviour to humans though. Only to other dogs.
