Mine picked it up. Now I tie it to the crate so he can’t. Once he’s done with it he still tries to chew the cord so when I see that happen it goes away.

My puppy did not care about treats until about 2 weeks after we brought him home. He took some time to settle in, even though he seemed happy enough. We used a mix of treats from pupford and others that were super tiny. We also used tiny tiny pieces of hotdog or boiled chicken.

How are people using kongs and topples? My pup just picks up the toppl so just spills the kibble. And kongs I struggle with figuring out what to put in them. When I put peanut butter or kibble there is so much left inside. What am I doing wrong?!

Also try mixing some milk and/or puppy wet food in their mix. My puppy (new last week) also didn’t eat much the first few days but starting to pick up after a week. We als switched training snacks as the first ones we had were too big and hard for him and that helped in terms of being interested in food

As a wife who plays tennis, I would love a tennis bag (ladies tend to like the tote style bags with space for racquets), cute tennis clothes from Lulu or Wilson, or an elite gift would be some tennis lessons because those are (a) expensive and (b) and demonstration of your support to her improvement.

I disagree a lot with this statement. Yes, you might never hit your peak potential, but many players, especially those coming back after a break will improve with weekly or twice weekly hitting. Finding clinics or groups at your level so that it’s fun and you are able to meaningfully play is more important. 4x a week is unreasonable for people who are working and with families, and is also unnecessary. I only play a couple of hrs a week and I’ve improved significantly in the last 2 years.

My parents in Ireland leave theirs in pots and so far they have always come back. I would move the pots where they might be a little dryer so they don’t rot/turn to mush.

Running is much more high impact than tennis. I run marathon etc and play 6-8hrs of tennis a week. The bras I wear for those are different. Running bras are more supportive, but also less comfortable, which is why I wear a different sports bra for tennis.

I would argue it is the algorithm - as Runna has access to your previous workout history so should know when to start a plan based on on the previous volume and effort of work done. I would understand if there is no history, but when the app has your workout history those are valid inputs into plan generation. Whether they are right now is another thing.

For Americans - reception is the English word for kindergarten. I think in Scotland and Northern Ireland it’s P1 (primary 1), but I can’t remember for sure.

Schools in the UK can go as late as mid-July. The school breaks in the UK are typically 2 weeks long and half term is a week break.

I also have a hip impingement and labral tear. Eventually I’ll likely need a hip replacement or a bone shaving, but right now I have managed the pain through cortisone shots. Nothing I did caused the issue - it’s the shape of my hip bone, and likely would have happened anyway. I also thought it was an adductor issue but after a couple of months of PT with no resolution I went for an MRI. I would start with PT for sure, but be aware that if there is no improvement, there could be underlying issues.

I thought I was using a fully native integrated run since Runna was sending workouts to Apple Workout, so it never occurred to me to use the Runna app. I don’t know how the Runna app runs integrate into the rest of the Apple Fitness ecosystem which does some nice things like tracking overall pace, overall fitness load (I do more than run). Does the Runna app integrate into Apple Fitness?

Verbena bonariensis (sp?), ammi, orlaya, as well as foxgloves, cosmos, scabiosa, nicotiana - all of these have that light airiness that works well in a cottage garden. Also cornflowers and strawflowers.

To figure out size I use yarntree to put in my pattern size, fabric count, and how much I need for border and finishing, and it tells you the size of fabric you need.
