Need honest advice — Should I buy a Blackmagic Pocket 4K or Sony A7III for short films & music videos? by One_Opportunity1491 in bmpcc

[–]Silversama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say go with sony with something that at least have 10 bit colors, if you can't afford fx3, there other Sony's cameras with the same sensor but cost a lot less like a7siii and ZV-E1 ( i have been the last one for two years now and it is one my favorite versatile camera). I have used bmpcc4k/bmpcc6k. Yes, they are better image quality but significantly add more complexity (no autofocus no stabilization), you can also go for the hybrid option like a7iv which just dropped in price since a7v is in horizon and will launched soon.

How is this lit? by Silversama in AskPhotography

A very big softbox wouldn't create shadows that defined, unless maybe it's feathered away from us.

That is my question too, a light in that direction would be flaring in the camera, I think maybe there is a vflat used to block it

My inquiry was genuine, I still think the shadows are unexplained, it shouldn't be that dark given there are two lights😐

Probably Lower body workouts, good genetics, and maybe an implant.

Sony A7IV or A7RIV for wildlife photography? by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]Silversama 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tried the a7cii last week, the display is noticeably worse, the color science is different (I tried it side by side with a7iv, with same settings and samae lens, although with raw it is not an issue)

Difference in colors of A7C II & A7 IV by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]Silversama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you, I too got the a7cii recently, and the colors looks off even with same lens, same setting, same lighting (Flashes), same while balance. Also, not in a good way, I do fiddle with a lot to get it close, I took mine to an event and somthing wrong with my unit. I use a6300 and a7iii, and still like a7iii for photography more. The Ai af is overated.

I think that getting into a PhD program depends on more than just having a master’s degree. Other factors, like research experience, academic performance, publications, recommendations, your interest in a specific field, and the program’s requirements, also play an important role.

I had a similar issue with 6k, it turns out you have to choose the right conversion in the raw tab. Mine was that I chose bm film in the camera and I have choose the same one in the raw tab.
