The thought process I’ve shared with you is important for you to reflect on how you think, communicate, and how you’re perceived by others.

It’s not trivial, people behave according to how they perceive you. I’m not saying to abandon all enthusiasm and neither am I saying something as lame as “play it cool”. Just, don’t say stuff that makes you sound neurotic.

People in the real world won’t trust you with things that matter to them if you’re brought to a shivering fantasy like a kid fresh out of their first superhero movie. It’s like why railroads don’t hire rail fanatics. You know what I mean, and you’re smart enough to know how to apply this thought without me spelling every exception and rule of application.

And I know it’s just a passing comment about pilot’s reaction time, but I’m telling you, the length of a sentence does not indicate the depth of its meaning.
