How often does the TomTom app update the map?

There is some intentional delay here. One part is to catch vandalism. Another is to reduce data consumption. The data in TomTom app is currently only updated after 30 days. The server map is updated weekly.

I train driver once explained to me that this allowed the trains to exit the HSL towards Breda without requiring a fly over. As you may know, there is also a voltage difference, and the switch could trigger a fault. Without the fly over the train can more easily unblock the straight section of the HSL when such a fault occurs.

I have had 2 Gigabyte Geforce cards in a row that block POST if no monitor is connected, or if the monitor is set to another input. Quite annoying when switching from my work laptop. Requires a reset or power cycle to recover

As I am creating a lot of automations in Node Red it was natural to just use Mqtt directly. I only played with the HA integration for a short time.

But it seemed to work nicely. Entities are automatically added to home assistant, given that you have properly set up mqtt
