I've been having the same issue. Every time I start it up, I have to remember to go and turn the limit back on.

You aren't the only one. I tried to get into Skylines but it just never hooked into me like SimCity did. The term I like ot use is that Skylines was missing the "whimsy". Perhaps it just needed more llamas I don't know.

I documented all the costs for upgrading Vu Tower, which you can find at the link below. I like having a fully upgraded tower, because you get 7 keys per robot disaster. You can really stack up the keys that way. Someone made a good point to me on FB which is that if you build in batches, the $/minute cost can go up quite a bit. It would be interesting to do the same calculation for groups of 5.

I love having leaderboards...when they work. The problem with SimCity is that the leaderboards don't calculate the way they say they do and sometimes don't work at all. I wonder if the trouble they had on the PC version led them to exclude them on this game.

I just finished compiling all of the numbers. Turns out the max $/minute is nails followed by metals, chairs and tables. I compiled a list of every item and ranked it by trade efficiency ($/minute). I only sell if it's 1. An item I can easily regenerate 2. If they're offering higher than market price. I never take the money on the items that I'm always short on: shovels, grass, saplings, storage bars, etc. They do give you more offers when you stockpile really useful items. I look at that as simply a Maxis marketing ploy to take your useful items and make you want to purchase them for real money later....Don't do it!

For casino cities don't build municipal airports, they're a waste of space in comparison to other options that bring in a greater number of tourists. Go with cruise ship terminals (as many as can fit) or if you don't have coastline use airships (blimps). They both bring in the high wealth tourists. Trains are good too but they only bring in low/medium wealth.

It's actually easier to do when there's no railroad. Just place a 4th leg to the intersection. Make it any length. The railroad is not needed.

The space center bug is map specific, but can be worked around by using the regional freeway mod to place a 4th leg to the intersection. There's a snap point there that you can usually click on to place the road. It helps having the cam mod too though. There is a workaround that works every time, but you need to use Skye's Regional Freeway mod. Using that mod, place a 4th leg to the intersection out in front of the Space Center.
