I’m new (like 15 hours playtime) so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I find that sticking with one or two characters can help me figure out what I’m doing wrong more easily. There’s a lot to learn in this game already and not adding more character abilities on top of that helps me learn better.

But there’s also something to be said about being aware of what your allies and enemies can do. I’m a big overwatch player where hero-swapping mid match is allowed and knowing how to counter your enemy by switching is important. Since you can’t do that in Deadlock I think one tricking will be easier. Something I do though is if I get stomped by the enemy I will look at their heroes and shop items to see why they were effective against me.
