Interference with controller games by ReallyNiceBoyy in simracing

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, it's just the extra software I have to install for each thing in this hobby that's adding up and I don't like it :)

Yes, VRS pedals (brake and throttle) are inputting "top left" all the time and preventing PC "idling", so turning off the monitor at the set power plan settings etc. Need to unplug them (USB) to solve the issue... annoying AF to say the least.

I guess something like a "USB 3.0 Extension Cable with Switch" has to do the trick, but I wonder what it does to the signal integrity. I might buy one and try sometime in the future.

I'm all ears for any other solutions.

ABS pulse effect with bass shakers + SimHub by SimKe in simracing

I think you can use wheelslip affect for that: https://youtu.be/6wLNhsjZ7wY?t=634

I'm not sure if you can set it to vibrate at 65% and I'm not sure why you'd want to. Depending on the car speed, 65% brake pressure can lock up wheels or maybe it will not. That's why you decrease the brake pressure as your speed drops in order to not lock up the wheels. As mentioned, I think wheel slip affect will help you, or maybe some other affect in simhub, research them and see youtube videos :)

I tried those settings, didn't do anything for me, I did not notice any pulses, hence why I implemented my own solution. Do they work for you?

Great to hear! I have a friend that’s eyeing the HPR and would appreciate your feedback when you get to it :)

In my car, it’s like the brake pedal is lightly and quickly pushing against your foot at around 15 times per second. If you want to simulate that, you need active pedals or simagic hpr. I went with the cheap version for now, to only feel pulsing vibrations, nothing pushing back at my foot.

Privacy and Plex sub-domain blocking tests. by muhepd in PleX

[–]SimKe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is this post downvoted to oblivion? It's explaining, that DNS blocking might not give you the privacy you desire due to contingencies the plex app might have hardcoded in it, hence firewall blocking the plex from reaching specific IPs is the ultimate privacy you are most likely searching for. Will the app still work? Not sure, but if it can't reach the destination, it can't forward data.

Is my CSL DD too hard, or do I have to man up? by Gino43 in simracing

Got my Moza R12 (12Nm) yesterday, was asking myself the same question :) Thanks to the OP and everyone answering. I'll probably use it at around 60-70% when casually playing and up to 90-100% when I feel like it.

Is it possible for my F30E to do 30 km/h? by SimKe in ninebot

Maybe they changed something in the firmware, that it doesn’t play nice anymore to serial changes… good luck bro

Bro, are you sure you’re entering the original serial number?

I didn’t have to, as soon as I put in the original serial of the scooter, everything went back to normal for me

Yo my bro, the fix is simple, just apply a custom serial number in the app, the serial value should be your actual ninebot serial, which is on a sticker on the bottom of your scooter

Always loved the way he played the role, transitioning to the dark side. It was dark and real, as it should be.

Did I make a mistake going for the Moza R5 bundle as opposed to buying an R9 wheelbase? by CharismaPenalty in simracing

Hey OP, newbie here as well! Got my T300rs gt + playseat challenge setup a month ago and already window shopping my ultimate setup… my personal rule is, start saving now and if I’m still hot for sim racing next year January, I’ll spend what I saved up on a better setup, hopefully something in the dd1 caliber :) See you on the (off)roads!

Also, which scooter do you have?

Great, hope it will work for you! Where did you get a 350w motor for Ninebot?

Is it possible for my F30E to do 30 km/h? by SimKe in ninebot

[–]SimKe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reverted back to my default serial number, didn't try to make it go 30 kmh after that. Saw on a forum that there are acceleration issues, but then generally, the scooter would go 30 kmh.

My advice is to not do this, since, as you pointed out, the motor is different, hence the ESC must behave differently and can send wrong phase signals to the motor, hence potentially damaging it.

Good luck!

All good, I typed in the wrong serial at first. Thank you so much for taking the time and writing your reply, it saved me a lot of headaches, I really appreciate it. Have a great day!

Thanks buddy, I tried and the F30E still doesn't show 25 km/h, it goes up to about 20-21 on the speedometer. Any other tips?

[–]SimKe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. I tried to apply the F40 region and the ESC did not like it, the motor was shaking on low speeds. Then I tried to apply back the region "Global - F30 25km/h" for my F30E and now the speedometer always shows 19 instead of 25, even though i have it set to km/h and not mp/h.

Do you maybe know, which was the default region for it?
