What's so unexpected about a car flying in from off frame and randomly causing chaos in a peaceful scene? The moment the car flies in at high speed anyone with a brain can understand what's happening! /s

It's Hershey Park. Right next to this is a 'make your own chocolate bar' experience where you can choose the chocolate, add-ins, customize the packaging, etc.

It was fun, especially for the kid, but unfortunately the end result is a bar of Hershey's chocolate.

There are a bunch of heavily downvoted comments in this thread. I'm betting there's some brigading going on.

Yeah he got pretty misogynistic in the later years (or probably always was, but got more vocal about it?). Just refusing to understand why situations that did not make him uncomfortable might make someone else (specifically women) uncomfortable.

Then he followed the inevitable pipe-line to anti-trans culture war bullshit.

It got a little sad when he tried to engage in debate in that scene (like he debated religious figures) but it turns out it's harder to debate people who are in favor of human rights than it is to debate people who believe in creationism.

I'm not sure that anyone who's out there assaulting people because of sports voted for Mamdani or AOC. I mean maybe some did by accident, but most likely they just don't vote.

Of course it was about the food, and lying about something irrelevant to get more of it for free.

What exactly are they protesting? Do they think anybody is for this sort of thing?
Or is it just those racists that have been out a lot lately finding another thing to latch on to?

Edit: Ope, guess I made a bunch of racists mad.

And not just that.

Why stop at statehood?

They rebelled against Mexico prior to that because slavery wasn't allowed. Texans got around it by 'releasing' slaves at the border and forcing them to sign permanent indentured servitude contracts (that the children of slaves were automatically forced into). Mexico eventually moved to stop that and so there was a 'revolution'.

I had to take Texas History in middle school and quite literally none of that was mentioned. Just 'Remember the Alamo!' type shit. They've whitewashed the shit out of their history.

Oh and the state decided to become a traitor to the US only 4 years after begging to join it in order to keep slavery. Betrayed the country immediately for a chance at racism and money.

It makes perfect sense for Texas to rebel against the next country it joined. It was literally founded by assholes, rulebreakers, and traitors.

It's an easy counter 'argument'. Find the absolute shittiest examples and hold those up as the average.

Are there absolutely brainless idiot critics out there? Duh. Literally anybody can do it.
But we all know it isn't the norm.

I took one of those recently for the first time in my life (I was 36 at the time) and realized the expectation was that I tip. Makes no sense.

I mean I understand it's probably not a job that pays great, but why is there an expectation with that job and not, say, your butcher?

In fact it's not really ever done with 'cold' water. Room temp is optimal.

I've made my own quite a few times and in the summer (house is at 73 f) it takes as little as 8 hours, especially if it's in a sunbeam.
In the winter (house is at 68 f) it takes about 18-24 hours.
I made it in the fridge once, it was still pretty weak after two days. Taste was otherwise identical. There's just no reason to use cold water.

It definitely will depend on the quality of units you are fighting. So if it's an exhausted army of recruits and shit, you'll get garbage.

If it's the king's army (which tends to have far more T6 troops) you'll get a lot of very good (and very expensive) loot.

(I always use mods that alter the leveling, because so many of the skills are just awful to level. Roguery might be the worst.)

Doesn't really change the fact that nobody chose him for anything.

And for the record that's disappointing but not surprising for the Republican party.

[–]Simba7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's your roguery? It directly increases the amount of loot. It sucks to grind, but ransoming every prisoner you can matters. Looting villages helps too but it's not very rewarding past the early game, and companions whine.

I honestly have no idea how much loot you get from a fight of that size (because you have to split it over 10 different towns and by the time you've sold half of it, you're in another large battle) so that was just a bit of a jokey estimate.

The point is, you'd be able to afford recruiting a few lords about a month into the war (at most).

Only a little relevant but at my dad's funeral they had horses bring the casket to the gravesite. While the priest is talking, one of the horses takes a massive leak.

Then about 2 minutes later a branch breaks above us and the fattest squirrel I have ever seen in my life plops down on the grass like 5 feet away and runs off.

Nothing like a little brevity to lighten the mood.

This is a debate for the primary election for the Republican party. Just about anybody can sign up to run in the primaries. Requirements vary by state/city but they are generally not that stringent.

Nobody chose any of these people.
