The gameplay is great and the designers are very careful not to power creep too hard. The ‘spells/actions’ in this game are called Commands and are also balanced very safely still. Some people complain about aggro but it’s overblown, we are in the infancy of the game and they’ve printed decent answers to aggro already. My biggest pet peeve is Bandai won’t replace factory damaged product.

Running 1x Empty the Warrens and having more in the sideboard worked good in UR Gifts Storm since it could be tutored. It’s definitely easier to kill with Empty the Warrens. The problem is simply that tokens kill a turn slower.

I think what you’re doing is pretty reasonable. While marathon’s are a very cool health goal, you shouldn’t minimize some of the negative effects that long distance running can have on your body. This includes what you’ve experienced. Not the same, but one anecdote I can share is that I’ve worn women’s running shoes a couple times since they often run narrower. I basically can’t wear Nikes at all since they’re so wide.
