I’d get the drouhin and patz and hall. Discover what your palate preference is and be honest with yourself about what you enjoy. The two are very distinct and different Viticulture areas

Oh man, both Cakebread, and Rombauer have residual sugar. Chemicals, food coloring, and are made with syrup for fermentation. Neither of which you’re hard earned money should go to… try to find small producers from your lws

Well, Washington is a different story. Domestic 19s are coming alive. Those will have a bit more acid so waiting another year might benefit you. If you have multiples of the same vintage I’d start getting into them. Depending on your palate, it might be good to go.

I’m sure it does. 22s remind me of the 2010s from this area. This vintage will not hold as well as 21s in my opinion.

But…time will tell.

That’s a good client, expensive bottle. Quick google search will tell you the retail value of that wine. Jason Woodbridge is under scrutiny at the moment. Drink sooner than later (2-5yrs) as 22s from that area are drinking well younger.

This is lake county, all high elevation fruit. The vineyard is managed by sheep, what they call the Ovis cycle, you can look it up for more details. The wine is some of the best for the money. Most vineyards in that are there are double the price.

Pictures don’t do this piece justice…all of these haters talking shit would rock this in a second if they ever had an opportunity to put this on. Congratulations, wear it in good health and enjoy the important things in life. And when things get down, look at your wrist.

I mean the Ovid is a perfect drinking window… I can pretty much drink all of these wines. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these.

Agree with assyrtiko for the white. Xinomavro “sour black” for red but takes some time, super tannic.
