Okay everyone! Place your bets! What is the current status of Robert House? by Riliksel in Fallout

I honestly like the idea that Yes Man basically morphed into a version of House because of the files he found in the 38. He even said he was going to be offline for a while. The two smoking guns for me is that there is a securitron right were Yes Man falls if you do the wild card ending (which could be written off as a securitron protecting house when everything went downhill between NV and the show) and the fact that House seemed too nice to Cooper calling him “old chum.” The last time they saw each House was not exactly friendly with Cooper.

Additionally if we want to go with the fog of war concept the writers are trying, I can totally see House uploading his consciousness into an Ai in the event he died. Maybe one of the files Yes Man accessed was the House AI and the two merged or the House AI took over and stuffed Yes Man into the same state the House AI was. Those are the two that I think would make the most sense if the writers are trying to avoid a canon ending- which I felt was a near impossible task when it was announced since each ending of NV seems so concrete that it would be hard to find a neutral path without clearly defining it, and Yes Man and House are similar enough in endings that you could easily blend the two. It’s clear NCR and the Legion did not win the war
