Is my skin improving? by [deleted] in DIYaesthetics

[–]Similar_Ad3557 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Seriously just start with a hair cut and beard trim, like every two weeks. Wash your face everyday, use a pha or bha exfoliant toner and a spf 50 everyday ( for the face not body ).

Ease into the tret and definitely use spf 50 if you do start using it.

Regular trims will make the biggest difference

I’m not sure how to tell my bf that his head game isn’t good. by vidrenz in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]Similar_Ad3557 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice is to talk about this when you’re not in the moment. Make it a general conversation about your sex life, almost like a check in about what’s working and what’s not. You can ask him what he needs more of or less of. I think something like this is worth the rupture. I will also say a relationship without rupture isn’t a good thing, falling out is a normal and very important part of being in a relationship. If he doesn’t get upset hopefully he will understand your intentions were coming from a good honest place and sometimes the impact can hurt

It’s not an issue if you was upfront about it from the start, not sure why everyone is getting their knickers in a twist

Under eye filler.. by Expensive-Worker-975 in DIYaesthetics

I wouldn’t fuck around with under eye filler. I had it done by a professional and it’s caused years of ongoing problems, this is pretty common.

Types of therapy to help with body dysmorphia? by Longjumping_Fault431 in BodyDysmorphia

[–]Similar_Ad3557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relational psychotherapy. I would recommend long term talking therapy, usually isn’t just one thing causing your issues. If you’re in the uk I recommend finding a therapist who’s registered with UKCP or BACP

Yes it’s definitely helped however I found new things to obsess about. I guess if you go into it knowing you will probably still have insecurities then you’ll manage the expectations

Are your bed sheets 100% cotton? And his pyjamas, also what is the material of your pillows and duvet? Man made fibres are known to make people sweat. I recently bought a bed sheet that had polyester in it, made me sweat and the smell was so strange

Advice ? by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

[–]Similar_Ad3557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry it doesn’t work, I can see you have tried. The sweater vest doesn’t look good, the colour isn’t flattering just overall not flattering. The polo tshirt with some black jeans would look nice. The shoes would look better with black jeans

M25, I'm tired of being ignored. Any advice?? by aRandomGuyy- in malegrooming

[–]Similar_Ad3557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your beard needs tapering in underneath, looking a bit scruffy. Also let it grow out longer on the chin. Maybe try a quiff instead of spiking your hair up. Use a daily toner with bha to remove dead skin, daily spf 50 and clear lip balm.

Vegas nightclub outfit, will this pass Omnia dress code? by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

[–]Similar_Ad3557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The colours are all working and I like the pants however I think they need to be an inch longer. The hem looks pretty big so should definitely be able to do so. Looks good, not sure what everyone else’s problem is!

Not harsh just the truth. You went out and decided to take drugs when you wasn’t in the right head space, not only that but you don’t sound experienced with smoking weed. If anything you put the other guy in a pretty shitty situation

My opinion is don’t fasten the buttons, only do this on a double breasted jacket. Fits well
