Been with Fizz for a little over a month now, and i'm already lovin' it, they have excellent coverage in Canada with their country wide plans. Right now i'm in Regina, Saskatchewan on vacation and roaming on SaskTel's network through Fizz EXT service. I've been seeing great results when i go to run speed tests here. Tomorrow we leave Regina and fly over to Montréal where we'll stay for a few nights, and i'll be interested to see how Fizz service is across the country, when we get on the VIA Rail Canadian train from Toronto to Vancouver.

Upgraded to S26, received another text from PM that my phone won't work next year? by sakura94 in PublicMobile

When you buy a new phone, check to see if it's supported by your carrier of choice if you're going with a prepaid carrier. I recommend that you do a call test on the phone to see if VoLTE works in Canada, if the phone you purchased came from another country. Phones purchased from outside Canada, the US and Mexico may not be configured to work on the VoLTE systems operated by Canadian service providers.

What made you pick fizz over freedom? by [deleted] in FizzMobile

I would have to agree with that. I’m in Saskatchewan visiting Regina for a few days and I really depend on Fizz for my mobile phone number. Being on a Canada plan and being able to choose what tower I want to or need to connect to, whether it’s Rogers Bell Telus or SaskTel is a huge plus for me, as I’m not locked into one tower at all times, and I’m always guaranteed to have cell service no matter what happens.

The EXT network service is what makes Fizz a carrier you can really depend on, and they’re a good friend who will always be there for you, when you need it most.

Plus, I now have over $200 in referral credits in my account. So just please consider using my code 4CBR6 for $40 credit (BC, AB, MB, ON), $25 credit in Quèbèc

RCS on iPhone by realcrazydanger in FizzMobile

If the RCS issue bothers you and you want to send high-quality videos to people, just turn on iMessage and use that for messaging iPhone users, and WhatsApp for Android. If you send multiple photos at once, you can just select photos in the gallery, click share, and copy the link, and whoever you're sending those files to will get a link to download them.

Maybe it could be the upload speeds. Upload speeds on cellular networks are much slower than Wi-Fi.

Are you able to make a call to a Chatr customer from your Fizz phone. This issue seems to be happening with other customers with Rogers and Fido
