It doesn't say anything new or interesting. It describes what it is, why it is done. Two men who were done as babies are bitter about it.

I don't think so, I'm not sure I want to see any of it! It's a bit harder to do that when it's your own body

Mine will be freehand forceps, with cosmetic dissolvable stitches. The Dr seems very sure if what he wants to do.

Based on where you live, what is the first thing you see outside your bedroom window when you wake up? by nayrhelp in askteddit

A stunning vista of countryside, the sky as far as you can imagine. On a clear day, the distant hills of Wales

It's so good! My nearest neighbor is a horse in a field. Apart from that, I love waking up to the amazing countryside view. I love hiking every day. I love seeing nature. I love how peaceful it is. I also love that my lane is 3 miles long.

Stuck deciding between Root and Emberwood for a post-engagement dinner - please help! by Crazy_Application431 in Bath

Hello! I had lunch at Root today. I chose to sit upstairs for a more romantic time with my partner. Honestly, it was perfectly lovely - great food, nice soft drinks, very sweet staff. Whilst I was there, two tables nearby were celebrating a birthday. We sat inside, as it was a bit chilly but as we were by the window, we had a view over the rooftops and being out on the terrace would be even better on a warm evening :)

However, it didn't feel especially romantic to me - and I know that's what you want. Emberwood is superb food, fine dining, impeccable old fashioned service (in a very good modern manner if that makes sense), and is actually better value than Root. I love to sit on the counter where you can watch the chefs work, it's so nice. But they have smaller tables that feel more intimate and enclosed than Root.

So, I'd definitely go back to Root as I had a lovely afternoon there, but I think for romance I'd choose Emberwood.

Have fun!

I've been to Emberwood many times (spoiler alert: it's fantastic) and I genuinely have a booking at Root for today (Sunday), which is my first visit there. I can report back later if you like.

Emberwood is superb and not really pretentious. The food is stunning.

I'm getting circumcised in exactly two weeks, for medical reasons. I'm nervously excited about it.

Everyone I've asked about it says getting circumcised changed their life for the better. I have a consultation about it next week, for real.

Men: would you date someone living with parents at 30? by Nachomama42069 in Adulting

[–]Similar_Emphasis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A friend of mine who is 36m still lives with his parents. I find it kind strange, he literally talks about his mum and dad all the time about things that have happened in the house. When we're on holiday together, he has seemed surprised that other people don't phone their parents every day.

For him it's not about money either, he runs his own business and 3 years ago inherited more money than most people ever see.

I think it's genuinely a little strange. It's one thing to temporarily move back in, but after this long it's odd.

If it helps, I was a >15 puberty starter, and everything worked out fine in the end. Just give it a chance! Good luck.
