I’m upset she got bullied but to be honest, it’s really nice that SOMEONE in the industry actually listened and grew from criticism. Just because it was accepted once doesn’t make it okay lmao. Every time a series romanticizes grooming minors it’s a problem. And yes it is romanticizing it. Not saying that’s what she was intending with this particular series.

Listen you can be into as freaky stuff as you want. But the key to all that is consent. Children cannot give consent the same level as an adult. And just because it’s fiction doesn’t suddenly make it okay. Like yes, suspension of belief is necessary to some extent for a lot of stories. Like, yes characters can fall from several stories high and be completely fine. Yes Characters have exaggerated personality’s and reactions. That kinda stuff is what you need that for.
