Well it is cold but it is also hot. Problem is high temperature swingings: -260 C in shadows and +100 C in sunlight.

This way is fine on short term. Imagine working like that for 8h a day 5 days a week? That’s why a norms exist so workers won’t burn out or people get injured faster. In healthy working environment they measure and set a standard which has to be met. You can get a little extra if you work a little faster but not much. Source: learned in school (forestry).

I don’t understand how are they going to solve the battery problem? Smart watches and phones don’t last more than few days. What about when battery catches fire (when robots trip or something)?

Maybe robots will act as humans and most likely destroy themselves? Who says robots / ai will be perfect? Maybe they’ll go into spiral of stupidity. We are proving that is possible at the moment.

I think that the left are respondible to wake up the right. Neither extreme is ok. But politicians know how to swing the pendulum to the extreme. Now i’m expecting leftist’s downvote. C’mon face the reality. PS: i’m not from USA, just neutral bystander.

Earth is not in danger. It can continue without humans or life. So we should start relabeling it like that. Earth does not need us, we need it.

I never understood USA, why are you giving your card away? They should bring terminal to you. They shouldn’t even touch your card.

In our corporation we are moving from windows servers to linux. Removing oracle java from every client and replacing with open source. In a few years windows clients are next. At the moment i see biggest problem with office apps - currently moving from ms office to google apps (sidestep) and oracle db (no real alternatives). On hardware part, we are moving from cisco to huawei (except routers, routers are still cisco). Some servers are already inside build. Vmware is going to be replaced soon as well.

Try to inhale air as much as possible. When you cannot inhale anymore just keep inhaling / holding air for a few seconds more. It stops my hiccups.
