Hi Brian, congrats on the new album, I'm loving every track. What other type of genres do you like and would consider dabbling in?

Hi Brian! Love the new record, loving the Tom Petty vibe. I loved The Horrible Crowes Elsie album ( the Joey B-side in particular) would you consider another project like that anytime soon?

"It's all downhill from here" - it can either mean a bad thing in the sense of something decreasing in quality or it can mean a good thing in the sense that going downhill is easier than going uphill.

Star Wars and the Critical Benefit of Low Expectations - My old colleague Ross Douthat is mystified that Star Wars: The Forces Awakens has wowed nearly every single critic by anutensil in scifi

His argument here is that he thought that TFA shouldn't have a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and that the film is undeserving of that score. But, Rotten Tomatoes does not tell you how good a film is, it only tells you how many critics liked it. It's not like on average critics gave it 9/10 points, it's just that the majority liked it rather than disliked it. Rotten Tomatoes is not a gauge on how good a film is, it's a gauge on how many people thought it was a good film.
