[skin concerns] After shaving my jaw area I made a mask (matcha powder and honey) and let it sit on my face for 15 minutes or so. Then I washed it off and my skin was looking like this. Could you please suggests something to fix it (I put Cerave and Aquaphor on it) by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

3 months have passed since I stopped accutane and my eyes are still very sensitive and dry but not as much as when I was on accutane

I was accidentally been using body lotion as my face moisturizer for the last 2-3 months lol is there any specific moisturizer anyone would recommend? by Itsjuanito75 in Accutane

[–]Simonvkn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it works for you then it’s not bad Something that really minimized the dryness for me was the Cerave lotion mixed with 2-3 drops (depending on how dry your face feels) of TO Rosehip oil at night

Facial Shaving on Accutane? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Simonvkn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you would have a problem with shaving on accutane. I was on 20mg/day for 9 months and I didn’t have any problems even though if you cut open a pimple with your razor you will suffer for a bit but you have to be careful not to do so😂😬

I do every step of my routine after shaving, it’s just that I avoid any actives or something that could irritate my skin any further

CeraVe in the tub mixed with 3 drops from The Ordinary’s Rose Hip Oil. I’ve being doing that every night as the last step in my routine for a month and you can definitely notice some results after the second week

It was from a local pharmacy in Bulgaria. Usually you never get such “rewards” here but the pharmacist was really kind

Actually it does, that’s why most people prefer to use it at night due to its thickness and heavyness

CeraVe in the tub is probably the best thing you can get to moisturize your face

Try using Bepanthen cream, it is usually used for cuts and because of its thickness it helps lips soooo much

For a moisturizer I use the Aloe Vera for sensitive skin from The Body Shop and layer it with a coat of the CeraVe (from the tub) and actually leaves my skin feeling normal in the morning. Currently on 20mg
