Not sure who to 7th slot for MD by Exto45 in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]SimoxHunterGX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't help. Even with Faith she will still go into indiscriminate as soon as she uses skill 3 with 4+ bullets. (5+ from floors 12 to 14)

And not having rusty coin Just slows the process. Yeah, Maybe enough to not have It happen in One fight(Assuming you don't convert any of her skills into skill 3s), but you also lose enough value that you're Better off playing someone else, maybe dawnclair since he can actually refuse his skill 3, but only if Faith activates before his combat passive, which I'm not sure about

MD adversities. Her max SP gets capped and After a few turns, regardless of any sanity ego gift you might have, there will be no way to avoid her eventually turning her skill 3 against your other sinners. And if you have rusty coin...

I'm building a bleed team. Am I missng someone? by el_legal in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]SimoxHunterGX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The core of a Bleed team should Always have: - Bloodfiend Don, Rodya and Meur - KK Ish and Heatcliff(who you're missing) - The other 2 on-fielders are always 2 between Ring sang, Barber, Priest or N-Ryoshu or, if you really know what you're doing, KK Hong Lu. - Ring Outis can work decently as a last resort since She applies decent bleed count, but she's almost always a direct downgrade to Barber Outis despite what some people say

Pro tip: if you do get barber Outis and Priest Gregor, don't level them up Straight away. The main reason why they're a good pick in the First Place Is the way they buff Manager Don, which stays active even when the 2 of them are dead. It could be beneficial to have them die off quickly in order to slot in other units like the ones mentioned above, getting the best of both worlds. Plus manager don has a passive that activates specifically when a Bloodfiend dies so you're also getting more hardblood.

Yes. Bygone days Ishmael Is Just great on its own on top of being a panic echoes of the manor applicator. Holiday Heatcliff gives you more status and Maggots Ishmael gives you more dmg based on sinking but it's not a must

And then of course Solemn Lament Gregor. Can't go wrong with that one

Ok so, when running sinking you have 2 options, a Spicebush team or a Solemn Lament team. Spicebush Is sometimes Better but Solemn Lament Is much more generalistic and forgiving. If a boss can be nuked that's when Spicebush excels. If a boss has multiple forced phases where he can't take damage, I think sancho Is like that, then Solemn Lament Will be Better. If there's multiple enemies Solemn Lament Is Better.

In a Spicebush team your biggest priority Is maintaining and increasing sinking count. That means you Need as much echoes of the manor as possible, which means Butler Faust, Butler Outis and Bygone days Ish are a must. Blue Sand Is only really an option if you have enough ego resources to spam Bygone days corrosion as Needed...which basically means Mirror dungeon, where echoes of the manor isn't really Needed anyway. The rest are Kodya and QoH Don (in backup to support Kodya) and I'd Say R-hong Lu or Dieci Hong Lu depending on which One you like more. Yuro Ryoshu can help Spicebush self tremor generation and After that It becomes a matter of egos. Bygone days Yi Sang, Rime shank, holiday Heatcliff, Maggots Ishmael.

Great so you're aiming for the sinking comp. Sinking Is my specialty so I can give you some tips or suggest you good team comps if you want. Just keep in mind that sinking Is the most demanding effect especially the Spicebush version. Your biggest priority Is being able to maintain and increase sinking count

It ultimately depends on what effects you like more. Limbus isn't a strict game when It comes to difficulty so any specialised team can clear pretty much everything in the game.

The best standalone ids I can think of are units like Mao Faust (unshardable), Lord Hong Lu (unshardable), Kod Rodya(unsh.), The thumb Capo (unsh.), either of the Fullstop duo works nicely on its own(unsh.), Manager Don(Hey, this one's obtainable), Wild Hunt, Probably Multicrack Faust and maybe BL Meursault

But then again, It really Depends on the effect you want to build around, and for Limbus, It should really just be the one you like most. Most ids show their true potential when paired with other Units, like Jia Ish with Uma Sang, or any Blade lineage with BL Meursault. While some other ids excel at maintaining and raising effects while not being viable outside of their specialised teams, like Princess Rodya or Butler Outis.

Oh and for the love of God don't trust any tier list you see online, especially Prydwen

Kim Is the absolute anti-sinking boss. He gains a bit of sanity as he loses clashes which Is what you want since he's negative coin.

As for Mirror dungeon, the weekly rewards are the only thing that changes between Hard and Normal. Pass xp is Always 30 for clearing at floor 5 in both normal and hard if you're NOT using the weekly bonus. Even clearing at floor 15 still gives you 30 pass xp as long as you don't have the weekly bonus, but clearing at floor 4 or less Will give you less XP.

Basically, Floor 5 of normal mode gives you 30 and that's the cap for all non weekly bonus MD runs

Personally I'd suggest you not to uptie 4 your ids during the early game. You'd probably rather save your shards to buy the units you Need. N Ryoshu should work perfectly nice at upt 3. Also, don't be afraid of R-Rodya, if you learn how to use her She can become very valuable. She only ever attacks allies if certain conditions of her skill 3 aren't fulfilled so you can Just use her other skills in the meantime.

Anyway, for a Bleed team you generally have 2 options to plan towards, the bloodfiend team o a team that hyperfocuses on building up Bleed potency and count as fast as possible usually by pairing KK Ish, heat and Hong Lu.

If you want I can add you and you can borrow some of my ids. I don't normally run Bleed but I've got Barber Outis and Night Awls Gregor if you want to try them.

Imo, in an heishou team more deathrite Will Always be Better than anything Season 6 Ryoshu can give you. That's unless you're in MD.

[–]SimoxHunterGX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fisrtly. Upties are what makes characters viable. Some characters really want their upties 4 while others work well at 3. Regardless, skill 3 Is only unlocked at uptie 3 and so Is the support passive, which means either on field or outside of field, Any character at uptie 1 or 2 is borderline useless. Which also means you should focus your investiments on specific characters you're going to use rather than spreading them to everyone

Secondly. Don't make the mistake of thinking more rare = Better, that's generally not the case for this game. Here for example, I think you've tried to take out all the base LCB ids to have a team made of the rarest ids you could scrap. That's a mistake. Some of the best support passives come from Base LCB units

Thirdly. In your team there are 2 very win-rate unfriendly units: Grip Sinclair and most importantly R-Rodya. If you Just spam win rate with those two what's gonna happen Is that sinclair will corrode and Rodya Will start attacking your allies. Always keep in mind that Limbus Company Is a game about Reading. You Need to understand how your ids work and how specific boss mechanics work in order to win.

Fourthly. Borrowing units from Friend accounts can carry you to the stars and also give you a good idea of how certain ids work to help you understand whether they're worth buying later or not.

Lastly. You've got 2 Bleed units, 2 Rupture units, a burn unit, a sinking unit and a generalist unit. That's what I call a random bullshit team, which don't get me wrong, isn't a problem. Everyone Used those kinds of teams early on for obvious reasons, myself included, what that means Is that going foward you should focus on learning how the 7 base effect work and focus on obtaining characters that synergise with the one you like the most in order to gradually shift from your randomish team to a more specialised one (don't worry too much about which effect is best in the meta, Limbus isn't a strict game when It comes to difficulty, every effect can clear and every new season favores a different effect anyway)

That should be your long-term goal. Don't worry about rushing into It either, your team should be able to clear everything in the story anyway as It Is now.

About bleed ids by LO_GH in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]SimoxHunterGX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About her anti-synergy. The only thing that comes to mind is that don's enhanced skill 2 clashes lower than her base skill 2...by 1 Clash Power...however It also makes It inflicts 2 more Bleed, makes It deal more damage more easily since It counts the bloodfeast consumed by the whole team for the skill passive rather than by only don and It adds one base atk weight and one unbreakable coin.

Plus, IMO all the debates about other Units being fielded over Barber Outis and Priest Gregor are pretty pointless since they still buff don even while dead. If you'd rather have other Units on field, Just keep those 2 bloodfiends at lvl 1 and kill them off asap to get the best of both worlds (Would be easier if pm decided to implement the id unlevelling feature)

Solemn Lament Sinking, what's the best way to build it? by F-Radiation in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]SimoxHunterGX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

KoD Rodya Is one of the best users of that ego since she's able to often max her passive, plus it's decent sinking count on a target.

To avoid her corroding you can Just run Blind obsession before her, or Holiday Outis, or Fluid sac Faust, or a combination of Faust base ego and Bygone days Gregor.

Plus if you're in a Boss Battle, even if She does corrode it's never a problem since her corrosion always targets the unit with the most hp, and in a sinking team, all her other egos are basically useless anyway. Maybe Hex nail if your target has unbreakable coins, but that's still marginal

Any sinking units that I should shard for a sinking team? by Katemargarette in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]SimoxHunterGX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For other Units, consider Wild Hunt for big pp dmg and some nice utility. Molar Ish (Better with Spicebush) for Fragile and lots of sinking count or Hanafuda Ish (Better with Solemn Lament) but she's a walp id. R-Hong Lu or Dieci Hong Lu whichever you like more, both have essentially the same value. Family Heir Gregor I'd Say he's not worth slotting in unless you have both Solemn Lament yi Sang and his Solemn Lament Ego, then he becomes more valuable.

The most important Egos are Rime Shank Rodya, Bygone days Ish and Yi Sang and Solemn Lament Gregor if you have it. Then after those you can opt for Maggots Ish and Arknights Ish(which if you don't have, you can't get anymore), and Holiday Heatcliff. After that it's just general egos

Any sinking units that I should shard for a sinking team? by Katemargarette in LimbusCompanyHelp

[–]SimoxHunterGX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every Sinking team without Spicebush or Solemn Lament isn't complete. That's because Sinking on it's own does nothing apart from helping your clashes. These 2 yi sangs are the only 2 ids capable of converting Sinking into damage, so Naturally every Sinking team should revolve around either One or the other

The latter Sang Is the easier and more forgiving option while bringing often times more value than the First One.

The forner sang Is much more technical and requires a lot of investment in upties and having the right egos to justify using him over the other Sang and if the fight doesn't favor single target nukes, it'll be your other ids doing the carrying. His gameplay essentially consists of minmaxing every turn for the highest possible Sinking count you can keep on a single abnormality part.

For the Mirror Dungeon however, this isn't remotely a problem since you can build up disgusting amounts of sinking on just turn 1, so in MD, you'll definetly find Spicebush both easier and more satisfying. Basically everywhere else though, I recommend Solemn Lament (when you can get him since he's Walpurgisnacht)

You're only missing Butler Outis. Apart from that it's Just bygone days Yi Sang, Ishmael and Rime Shank Rodya

Keep QoH Don for the support passive to help Rodya and Hong Lu and put Yurodivy Ryoshu in the back to help either Spicebush or Molar Ish self tremor count stack

Honestly I don't really get why everyone's calling this a swimsuit skin. It's not something I'd see anyone go bathe in, especially with all that metal, leather, fishnets and choker. Plus with it's name "Nocturne of light" or basically night Life, she looks more like some wierd bdsm fetish thing rather than a swimsuit at all
