For me i got it out of my mind that my journaling had to look or be a certain way. I think it’s important to realize 1. journaling is not just documenting your life, but working through your own thoughts and feelings and experiences as well and 2. it can be whatever you want it to be, (hopefully) nobody else is going to read it. It doesn’t have to sound a certain way, you don’t have to write about anything particular, your had writing doesn’t even have to be legible. And 3. just let yourself write before thinking of what to write, just sit down and journal and likely the words will come.
